SSPXr 1.0.4 Fixed missing docking transform on new docking port For future reference... when I say I'm on an issue like this (twice!), I am very much going to try to get to it as soon as I can. I'll ask for more information as I need it - I just have a full time job and an infant to take care of first. Telling me it's an issue repeatedly isn't going to help. -

Well, from the message, plus the log, it doesn't look like you have installed the resource definition for the MetalOre resource that EPL depends on. Might want to look into that. -

You should post that in the scatterer thread. I'm not sure how anything I would do here would break scatterer and @blackrack would have to let me know what may be wrong. -

He notified me that he was waiting for the official release of a stock German localization, then he would go over and revise them. He hasn't responded to my pings on GitHub though so I've left them alone. If you want to pick them up, that's probably fine. -

I can't stress how important 3.3.1 was for me. It's an important milestone in the development of CTT, similar to how Making History was a huge milestone for KSP. Nothing will ever be the same again. KSP 1.4.2 Updated MiniAVC to 1.2.0.1

No. I spent probably 30 hours developing this style, evaluating it, and porting it to everything. I don't think that the USI container is a good model of what I'm going for. These are. I'm not going to change this much if at all. Here's why: Item TWR Isp LV-N (LF) 2.0387 800 LV-N (LH2) 2.7183 900 Neptune 2.9695 950 Poseidon 3.0096 925 Liberator 7.5989 1625 They're already better in every way than the stock LV-N. For more thrust, you *should* use thrust augmentation. I'll look into that. I don't have this, do you have B9PS 2.2.1? This was fixed for 1.4.2 quite recently.

The IVAs for a 5m part would be hideously time consuming so at the moment, no. What would it look like, even? I haven't really considered commissions before as a work driver, so I guess it would depend on whether a commissioned part fit nicely into my plans for the mod(s). And whether you could deal with the low production rate of quality parts these days... -

If you mouse over the Kerbal portraits on a crewed ship, you'll see a small round button appear to the left of the portraits. That's IVA overlay mode, click it to reveal IVAs. -
A test version of CryoTanks with most of the planned balance changes can be downloaded by pulling my dev branch. I'd appreciate input, it's pretty messy and needs cleanup but the basics should be there. Mainly: 7.5 units of LH2 per volume unit (instead of 5) Mixed tanks made consistent Dry masses cleaned up

Thank you. Progress notes: 1.4.2 Update Status Breakdown NF Propulsion Finished the lithium tank redos. Update soon. NF Electrical Seems mostly good now, update soon. NF Solar Testing a few things, but soon. NF Construction Revisions moving towards done for revised parts. New parts are about halfway there, slow going Needs to match whatever rebalance happens for CryoTanks, so depends on that. NF Spacecraft Almost ready. Also needs NF Props update, not a huge problem. NF Launch Vehicles Stock fairings are stupid and buggy now. Needs work to finish, not sure when I'll have time. I can release the updated mods this weekend/early next week, or I can wait to finish NF Construction. Opinions? -
It seems like there's little disagreement that something here needs to change. Now, I'm not aware of a huge number of mods that specifically depends on CryoEngines for balance and function. Typically my patches will handle all tank mods unless the mods specifically implement their own version. If you all know any mod authors that might be affected by a ratio change please direct them here to discuss. I have heard that SSTU and @Shadowmage follows the same numbers at least so I'd appreciate input on how unpleasant this would be. If USI also uses these ratios, maybe @RoverDude could chime in? For reference: A proposed combustion ratio change to 10 LH2 : 1 OX (closer to reality based on mass flows) instead of 15:1 A proposed tankage change to match this A modification of tankage values to normalize volume utilization across the board (currently too low for LH2/Ox mixture) A set of changes to cooling costs to make all this nicer Remember, with cases like this we can only improve by being willing to break things. Of course, MH introduced an abysmally balanced J2 and SPS pair, with 400+ Isp on the latter, which probably screws CE balance no matter what. I'm just going to ignore that data point... Some specific answers: I will have a look when I do this. It might solve itself naturally with the changes, but there is an intent that a given cryogenic engine has less TWR than the equivalent LF/OX engine. Might be a bug. Might be worth a look. Typically I mass-patch tanks, unless a mod distributes engines or specifically coded LH2 tanks, adjustment would be automatic. It would not be fun for ships in flight, but since I'm winding down my KSp modding activities, this is probably the last time this will happen.
