  1. Hi I haveing brightness issues with the galactic core and surrounding stars being way to bright. Like washing out Kerbal systems star bright. Is there a setting in the galaxy.cfg or elsewhere to turn it down a bit? Thanks =)
  2. LOL Such a great idea! I love it! Fits right in with the Kerbal way of doing things
  3. I'm not sure if FAR is conflicting with one of my other mods or what but I to am having the exact same issues as Scott in his latest video with odd phantom forces taking control of all my flights no matter how configure control surfaces. Though I am not having all that wobble and flexing like he was experiencing. I have built, and have launched many model rockets in rl, and so long as you have your stabilizer fins aliened properly that rocket will stay fling straight every launch even in moderate to strong winds. Sadly I had to uninstall FAR for the time being.. just to much frustration failing every launch.
  4. Thanks Nathan for the info, and for all your awesome mods! Working great now. With this tank mod I can free up a lot of memory space getting rid of all other tanks! Awesome stuff!
  5. Hello I just installed this on a fresh KSP install along with; Real Solar System v5.1 KSPI 0.7.4 Kethane 0.8 TacFuelBalancer Ferram Aerospace Research 0.9.7 Procedural Wings MFS 3.1 And I seem to be having a problem changing the fuel type. With my mouse over the tank and pressing the "g" key does nothing, and stays liquid fuel/oxidizer. All other features changing size/textures is working fine. I was hoping to use this mod exclusively as my fuel tanks and delete all other default/mod tanks to reduce my memory footprint. Thanks for any help
  6. Well as far as attachment go's it's really an easy fix. Just change the attachment rules in the part .cfg from "attachRules = 1,0,1,0,0" - from the old sphere nuclear reactors to "attachRules = 1,1,1,1,0" - this is from the new KIWI 1.25 .cfg But really though I haven't had to many issues with them as long as you run your struts to it not from it as Fractal said.
  7. Did you make sure all the part files matched for the tree node you place them in? Like if you placed a part in advRocketry that part.cfg must have the same tree node designation like this // --- editor parameters --- TechRequired = advRocketry cost = 950 category = 0 subcategory = 0 If thats not the problem then I don't know what else it could be. But so far everything that I have added to mine is working fine.
  8. Yep it "seems" to work so far adding to the tree.cfg! The parts are showing up now anyway. So hopefully I can now have KW and KSPI or any other mod I want together but does take a bit of editing time.
  9. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it is possible to add parts from other mods to the tree.cfg found in your saves folder. I was wondering the same thing as all my KW gear was not loading. Granted it would lake a lot of work though. I'm going to try it and see what happens. If it misses up my game I can just reload a new one.
  10. That tech tree layout looks great Fractal_UK! Very excited for the next update! I was wondering though when or how the computer core gets upgraded to agi? Or is that fazed out in career mode?
  11. Really enjoying your mod Fractal_UK! Thank you, and zzz and everyone else working on this for the time and effort that your putting in this! I to am excited to see how this works with the 0.22 science system. Now if I can just get 0.22 downloaded... as there server currently seems to be a bit overwhelmed for one reason or another.
  12. Hello all, I have a question about the resource transfer system in conjunction with the kethane mod. What I am trying/wanting to do is beam kethane from my miner landed on Mun to my command ship that is in orbit. I have the command ship in a crazy low 5k orbit well within transfer range but the system well not transfer, and it says "target is within transfer range but laser range is to short"? I have all my yellow lazors set as the leaders, and the range slider maxed to the right and works fine stationery transfers. Is this something that is just not possible to do with spacecraft traveling at high relative velocitys? And if not is there a config setting to make it possible? Thanks for any help. Really loving this mod! Edit: Nevermind, I figured it out. My lazor view distance on the space center screen was set to 300m. I kicked it up to max and I can now transfer kethane up from my miner. Though oddly enough I can only beam it up using my command ship in orbit. For whenever I try to beam it using my miner on the surface I get a message stating that the target ship does not have the kethane resource?
