  1. Finally got around to building a space station in KSP2, Even Jeb seems to like it.
  2. Need a way to quickly evacuate due to a launch mishap? Or want to setup a airline to reap in those tourist bucks? Try out these commercial jets! Lockheed L1011 Tristar: Lockheed's finest commercial airliner. Flies a bit slow but will get you were you need to go. Boeing 747: Try out the Queen of the Skies! This big beast can transport 151 passengers and 4 crew to wherever you need! Boeing 737-200: You are now free to move around the Country. Try out this regional airliner in a certain discount airline colors. Note we are not responsible for any cancelled flights due to archaic scheduling software. Wasp Flyer: Try out this nimble little jet with excellent range. Lots of fun to fly. Craft Files: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/17h8Z0TC5xs4ScFqJZQ-f5P5AVzpXNB9i?usp=sharing
  3. Su-27 Flanker Try this very nimble fighter bomber. Press 1 for Afterburners SR-71 Blackbird: Try out the quintessential Mach 4+ spy plane. Including parachutes for landing. Not very nimble but is extremely fast. B-2 Spirit: Try this late cold war terror! Finally got this working with the latest update. Kinda wonky but flies well enough.
  4. With the latest update, the YF-23 APT-1 now flies without the kraken destroying it! Still flies pretty poorly though but it no longer has a death wish
  5. Great update, already seeing a performance boost, I can get the performance I was getting at 1080 at 2K now!
  6. So just the .json is required to share a craft but with just a json, you get no craft image preview in the selection menu. I usually include all three just to be safe
  7. Pe-8 Russia's WW2 strategic bomber including bomb load. Flies as a big bird should, very stable. Press 1 for bomb bay doors. X-17 Night Sabre One of my own creations, a very nimble fighter that is fast with endurance to boot. Lots of fun to fly and easy to land. Capable of Mach 1. X-21C Rolling Thunder Another of my own creations. This time a fighter bomber variant of the X-17. Not quite as nimble as the X-17 but still quite handy and very easy to land. Also check out my drive for some more surprises not listed here.
  8. I seem to keep running into issues with wings having their elevators inverted but not the ailerons. This isn't an issue with normal style planes but anything with ruddervators or elevons is a toss up. One simple fix, would be allow the player to invert individual control directions while leaving the others untouched.
  9. Looks very Sci-fi, how does it fly in the atmosphere? Does is take off horizontal?
  10. I've made 2 versions to try out the APT-1 is more accurate but is kinda wonky since wings don't appreciate engine thrust too much. The other flies quite nice
  11. Same here! It has the looks and performs exactly how you'd expect it to. Can be a little sketchy driving around after touch down though, may have dipped a wing a time or two.
  12. These look great! How did you manage to do the red lining on the SR-71?
  13. Thanks man, got a few more cooking up. F-4 Phantom II: Try out this Cold War classic, this is a stable flyer though not the most nimble. Press 1 for Afterburners F/A-18E Super Hornet 80's Tech meets modern conveniences in this up-sized F-18. A personal favorite of mine and one of the few jets I've worked on IRL. A very nimble flyer, lots of fun. F-15 Eagle Try out the baddest fighter in the sky the undefeated F-15 Eagle. A very nimble and quick plane capable of Mach 2 speeds. Another person favorite of mine from work.
  14. Thanks, been really enjoying the new procedural wing system, really lets you do some accurate designs.
  15. All planes have been hand crafted by kerbal artisans and have been rigorously tested per standards provided by the FAA and the DoD. All planes are guaranteed to fly. Export Limited F-5 Tiger: The F-5 Tiger is a light and highly maneuverable jet that is capable of flying under the bridges with ease. Not the quickest jet around with the XS jets but it is very accurate to the real deal. Hopefully in time I can improve the performance with better, modded engines. Video of the jet in action F4U Corsair: Try out this iconic warbird now in jet form! I am planning on updating this once the robotics parts are out to be prop driven but for the time being try out the jet version. It is a very steady flyer and is very capable. Best flown with SAS disable, as the SAS is kinda buggy and introduces a wobble.' F-4 Phantom II: Try out this Cold War classic, this is a stable flyer though not the most nimble. F-15E Strike Eagle F-86 Sabre & Mig-15 Try out these Korean war era fighters! Both are nimble though not the quickest flyers. Lots of fun and will be a good time once MP is out. YF-23 I've included two versions one flies nicely but the Afterburners are glitched and the APT-1 is a more accurate version that can fly but honestly is a chore to keep on course. After burners work but is ill advised. Capable of Mach 1. 16. So by that logic all my idiot friends on facebook who "tlk lik dis dood. Yolo swag 420" are mathematical geniuses! You're on a forum, a place where you can only communicate by writing, please use somewhat good grammar and definitely use correct spelling. Anywoozle, the math for delta-v and TWR are easy and simple to do equations, don't start thinking your better for simply plugging in easy to find numbers and getting a result. Now if you came in here and told me you figured out the delta-v or TWR equations (if they didn't already exist) you could be a snooty, self righteous prick because you discovered it.
  17. I've gotten good at building off the cuff rockets and planes. Why? Because I can't be bothered to figure out delta-v and TWR. Yea I could install mechjeb to give me the info but I'm fine without it and always have been. I'm terrible at making SSTO spaceplanes though.
  18. I think this thread needs a little veritasium to clear up some things about wings
  19. My first landing attempt failed terribly I smacked the surface going orbital velocity(didn't pull of time warp fast enough) and the second ended in me running out of fuel and smacking into the surface again at 50 or so m/s. I quit trying until landing legs where added and after maybe 5 more tries I did it and just cheered all while listening to pink floyd's Dark side of the Moon. Then I returned to kerbin because there was nothing else you could do in 0.14. EDIT: I went back and I was able to dig it up but I think I didn't return from this one. I'm pretty sure it fell down the hill and just got destroyed.
  20. I went to Jool after about a million tries to get the phase angle right plus I was doing the math myself with the wrong equations but I did make it using MB-ruler and Olex's calculator once he published it. I landed on Vall but I had to cheat the fuel though which is why I don't count it. I did make it to Laythe though legitimately but only an orbit. Still I only went to Duna a month or so after it came out because I didn't have time or will to try it. Actually that was my first Target and in 0.17 but I couldn't get the angles or the math right for it so I went for Jool next.
  21. 0.14, I heard they finally implemented persistence and just had to have it. Still couldn't orbit at that time I don't think.
  22. Apparently I voted but never posted proof, let me dig up some picture then. My most recent Apollo style landing: and here's from a few months ago for the Armstrong memorial challenge:
  23. If you go by my most visited it would be Mun, before I put rovers or probes anywhere I test it first on the Mun since it's so close and a relatively quick mission. Plus considering I've only visited four of the six alien planets and only been to three foreign moons my pool is small. Though getting and landing a rover on Dres was a nice challenge considering the plane change I had to do.
  24. Who says you can't rearrange a space station? With the new cupola capsule I made an observation deck and with it I decided to rearrange the station to allow future expansion better. Old: New: And my first plaque and flag plant:
