Nice replica! A suggestion for the nose cone is to use fairings, that you then use the rotate tool to make it look more like the real one's nosecone. It's textures are not the best, but for the shapes fairings are my best bet. I suggest you also place avionics inside it, as on the real one (I think) the radar and other systems are mounted in the nose cone, so it gets more realistic then.

I might give it a try to make my own, remeber: When making replicas, rotate and offset is your friend. I'll post my version here when it's done.

The G-force meter (the seismometer) in the game is acctually both. It displays the exact G-force, and I use it more often than the Gravioli when checking the gravitational force on a body in KSP, because it gives me the G-force instead of the m/s^2, because I think it's much easier to read it out. Hello! My name is BriXman, as written in the title, and this is the thread where I'll log adventures in Kerbal Space Program! As an introduction, I will be playing career mode here, and there will be a little bit of roleplaying, if you've read Brotoro's Long-term Laythe mission, which is the inspiration to this thread. As you say, "life" might only be "life" on Earth, it can be completely different on other worlds. Maybe lif eon other planets don't need a breathable atmosphere, maybe it doesn't need the correct temperature that our life needs.

Probably mainly the U-2. When you see normal passenger planes flying above you, they are pretty much just white dots. Well, they are flying at 10,000m normally. This plane flew much higher, so when you (rarely) saw this aircraft, it'd probably look like some unnatural alien-spaceship. Nontheless, I think flying this plane was fun, just looking down seeing the earth in all it's beauty, and looking up seeing pretty much space. - - - Updated - - - Interesting...
