  1. I just found out that Rick Mastracchio will be sending a Geocaching Travel Bug with him to the ISS. The launch will be in Kazakhstan in the early morning of November 7. More info can be found here: blog.geocaching.com/2013/10/geocaching-in-space-the-interactive-event-map
  2. Hello! I have been wondering about this for a while and thought I'd finally ask it... As all of you know, the start up screen is a Kerbal, a crashed rocket, and a beautiful Münar landscape. My question is this: Where is that beautiful background on the Mün? I would love to land there. Thanks for your help!
  3. I've had it for a while, and it is pretty fun. There are a few things that need improving, and I would like it if they had a sandbox mode with all the parts unlocked.
  4. False The user below me knows the weather tomorrow.

  6. Tech Tree wise, I've nearly completed it. All that's left are a few manned interplanetary missions to get more science. I've established communications systems for Kerbin, The Mun, and Minmus. There are a lot of things left to do for me!
  7. Awesome! I've been setting up a Laythe base myself. Of course, it isn't nearly as extensive as yours.
  8. We will find out in November. (According to the website.)
  9. I would especially like to see resources (mining), and new planets. Of course, it is still too early for that. Also: enhanced IVAs!
  10. I recently saw the movie, it was great. I was at the edge of my seat the whole time! Even though some things are scientifically inaccurate, it's just a movie. I don't see why you would talk about the scientifically wrong things before the plot or the theme. For those of you who haven't seen it- go see it!
  11. I think you should stick with the version you have. Although .22 brings science, you would risk losing your past data. It's your call, so do what you think is right.
  12. It was a dark and clear night as I waited for the ISS to pass overhead... When I saw how fast and how high it was going, it immediately caught my interest. I even found this game because of it.
  13. I'm from the Golf capital of the world!
  14. Hello everybody! Having just recently joined the forums I've decided to share my other favorite hobby- geocaching! Geocaching is sort of a treasure-hunting game where you input coordinates into a GPS or other GPS-enabled device, and try to find little containers with logbooks in them where you sign your name. It gets addicting, and it really improves your finding skills. Check it out here: www.geocaching.com
  15. As far as I know, the recent terrain overhauls have made some go underground, but they're all still there. You could easily find them at www.kerbalmaps.com. Not only does it tell you the location on map view, it tells you the coordinates.Hope this helps!
  16. Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it! Also, there are lots of tutorials online, and I highly recommend that you watch Scott Manley, he is amazing at the game.
  17. Hi everybody! I've noticed that some parts, like the ladders or airplane landing gear, are fully extended when in the VAB or SPH. Although this is true, the landing struts (e.g. LT-2 or LT-1 landing strut) are not fully extended. Perhaps they could change this, as it would be helpful in knowing if your gear is long enough to touch the ground before you realize it isn't. Thoughts on this are appreciated!
  18. No czokletmuss, that's not me! Because I enjoy looking through telescopes, I named myself this because I am an amateur astronomer.
  19. Thanks! I have a small question: How can I quote someone?
  20. When you look at the launch site, it will be the same time of day if you launch a rocket immediately after exiting the screen. For example, if it is sunset at the launch screen then it will be the same time of day if you launch a rocket afterwards. However, this does not apply to the VAB or the SPH. Sadly, I don't know if there are any plans for this.
  21. My first rocket name was Orbiter 1, as I was trying to get into orbit. It worked well, but ever since the save-breaking update of .21 I forgot how to build it!
  22. Just started reading the story, as I am new to the forums. Keep up the good work!
  23. Let's see... My kerbals have been to the Mun, Minmus, Duna, Ike, Dres, Jool, Laythe, Eve, and Gilly. *Note: I've never landed on Jool or Eve.
  24. Hi there! I'm new to the forums, but not so new to KSP. I must say, this is quite a game, and it is worth every penny! So far, I've got a base on Laythe, a base on the Mun, and others waiting to be rescued:)
