I\'m with RavingManiac on this one. It took me a good few hours to figure out how to get the black swan to go so fast. Sure there is a top speed at which boats can go, but it is very tricky to reach this top speed.

Who has the fastest oceanic ship? The rules are simple: -It must reach its top speed from a standstill in water, without leaving the water. -It can only use C7 and radial parachutes. Except RCS tanks which can be from any pack. -The only cheat parts allowed are parachutes and RCS tanks. -3 screenshots must be provided: On the launchpad, at standstill in the water before speed attempt, and the ship at its fastest possible speed. 888m/s? This is just getting silly. If I didn\'t care so much about aesthetics I could probably get a good 600-700m/s... Infact I\'ll try that.

So I was trying to orbit my thundershuttle when I had a bad feeling, so I decided to abort and detach the thunderbolt... My bad feeling wasn\'t unjustified, the whole thing was about to explode. I love this screenshot I go of it!

Yeah sorry, I\'m just a little weirded out because I finding it difficult to beat 450m/s even with 3 KW Super 6 engines. I\'ll stop asking people for craft files now, I\'m convinced anything is possible at this point.

Omnivore what parts are you using? Double the speed of sound at 730m sounds suspicious.
