I just did the math, Cold station one weights in at 15.2 Tonnes. I\'m assuming the mass is measured in tonnes. The Heru\'Ur without payload weights in at 546.16 Tonnes.

I could totally add boosters to her... But I don\'t see why I would. She can already ready reach any orbit around Kol(kerbol, sun whatever.) so range isn\'t an issue.

Cold Station One is a craft that I created to go further than I\'ve ever travelled before. There are no other planets, so it\'s a nice though to think my station is still up there, waiting for me to come back. The cold station orbit\'s at 3 KU. Kerbological units = the distance from Kol to the Kerbin, 3 KU = 13.5 Million KM * 3 = 40.5 million Km, cold stations orbit. Images: Stilts. Thank you Kryten, and Ben. Barrett I don\'t even know what you\'re arguing for anymore. No body is disagreeing that a hydrofoil is the best option. If you don\'t think this challenge requires any inginuity, that\'s cool, don\'t enter! Just let us people who want to play with their little speedboats do so and have some fun.

Tim, the two entrants so far ARE hydrofoils. No one was arguing that hydrofoils aren\'t the best option.

What? Launch a satellite on an escape vector, from the mun? So do we have to land on the mun, then take off again, launch the satellite at escape velocity, then then return home?
