To be fair, OP did bring this upon himself, checking the rule to divide by 20 is similar to finding a nail in a haystack due to him not specifying them seperately. I'd suggest putting the rules outside the main first paragraph. Anyway: Q1: Yes(2pt) - 2pt total Q2: Yes(4pt) - 6pt total Q3: Yes(4pt) - 10pt total Q4: Duna, Eve and Laythe(6pt) - 16pt total Q5: Yes(10pt) - 26pt total Q6: No(0pt) - 26pt total OQ1: None(0pt) - 26pt total OQ2: No(0pt) - 26pt total Q7: None. The Duna crew never returned, and the Eve/Laythe expeditions were unmanned.(0pt) - 26pt total 26/20 = 1,3 Well then, I wouldn't expect someone who has managed to dock three times already to be on the lowest level. Oh well, it just reinforces my user title.

Agreed. Better ask a moderator to move it to OffTopic before an administrator moves you to InfractionLand.

Longest you have gone without KSP

Half a year... ...I need to be cleansed with holy Kerbin water. -
Hey, could someone make a backup of the former Mk1 Plane parts? I would like to keep them for future reference. Might fry a weaker computer's software, though. I know that my computer lags a lot at the VAB and SPH with the Ground Crew setting on.

Ideas for the New Secret Feature in 0.25!

Actually, the tip is that experienced players won't encounter it. So weather is off the list. -

Hm... can we nail down the feature before tomorrow? This is a challenge for you, fellow detective Kerbals We know it has alterady been guessed some time before, so don't bother with recently or non-suggested ideas. I actually thought that most KSP users were from Poland. -

To be fair, I think that would be pretty difficult to implement. -

It wouldn't matter, anyway - a ship splashed down at Eve's oceans is doomed. Although Tw1 and his Evepod expedition CERTAINLY wouldn't be happy... (as would anyone else trying to sail on Eve's seas) -

And the KSP Community shows it's nasty rear side once again... Pretty much. Come on, everyone, why are you making such a deal out of this? It's only a suggestion... No cats were harmed, no coffee was spilled, no pandas went into extinction, and Danny2462 didn't blow Kerbin up again. Hmm... for me, it looks more like trees than buildings, as they seem to be round-ended. It seems pretty normal to me - but it would be pretty interesting if weather actually was the secret feature. -

Y-yes, sir. I-I'll update the post right now. A KSP dev just replied to my post! Amazing theory! I wonder if it's really that. 0.26: The Armageddon Update! *Ahem* Just to remind everyone, those are our current clues to the secret feature: -Won't be exactly a common occurence, -Skilled players more often than not won't encounter it unless they deliberately do so, -If you do encounter it, you'll have to deal with its' consequences, -No mod has ever done it before, -It's a cool, but really small thing, -It's only possible because of all the groundwork that they put in so a big 0.26 big feature could be possible. -

Agreed. This will mostly only happen if either you're testing a plane or spaceplane's versatility around KSC and end up accidentally crashing into a building due to engineering fails or if you're landing an SSTO at the runway and REALLY screw your aligment. -
Ah, alright. It felt like you were implying I'm stupid - I really have to work on stopping this tendency...
-
Well, gee, all I did was to suggest something...

Unfortunately, I'm afraid it isn't the Magic Boulder. It averts pretty harshly the second tip Maxmaps stated(located in the post above yours) - after all, it takes a pretty skilled player to even see the Magic Boulder in first place. And there aren't really many "consequences" for finding it, so tip #3 is also out. -

Alright everyone, let's get back on rails. (pun intended) From what Maxmaps said, the "secret feature" has those traits: -Won't be exactly a common occurence, -Skilled players more often than not won't encounter it unless they deliberately do so, -If you do encounter it, you'll have to deal with its' consequences, -No mod has ever done it before, -It's a cool, but really small thing, -It's only possible because of all the groundwork that they put in so a big 0.26 big feature could be possible. Obviously it won't be improvements to air/water. It might be something like volcanoes, as they meet with traits 1, 3 and 4, but isn't exactly on par with #2 as skilled players also can meet up at one. I'm also doubting that the secret feature is the new explosion FX, as mods could easily replace that(looking at you, HotRockets), and skilled players also do hiccups from time to time(and glitches). -
But what if he's... lying?!

I agree on the concept of destroying buildings, but I think that the fact that the section describing this on the Planned Features page isn't there anymore is because it, so far, isn't confirmed and therefore unofficial, but an user decided to wing it and write it in there anyway, thus resulting in an admin removing it as the information isn't official and thus doesn't belong in the wiki. -
KSP Admin Building Staff Detailed In Shacknews
Commissioner Tadpole replied to The Jedi Master's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I can alterady picture each of the trio's personalities by just looking at their appearances. Walt has a bit of a "southerner" accent and, from what we can see of his... questionable fashion choice, is a Cloudcuckoolander, but is still friendly, polite and very charismatic, which led to the public to love him. Mortimer is an angry, grumpy and greedy Kerbal, as we can see from his wrinkles and clothing style. He's seldom happy, and his subordinates often are scared of commiting anything faulty in his front. However, he is a very good accountant and knows the best choices in where to gain and spend money. He'll always criticize you and be condescending, though. Linus is a shy, socially awkward but very intelligent scientist. In fact, his levels of intelligence are so high that he could pretty much be considered the Only Sane Man of Kerbin, and would probably be the head scientist or possibly even the emperor of Kerbin if it wasn't the fact that he occasionally stutters and is too afraid of speaking up in the public, thus often staying in Wernher's shadows. Unlike Mortimer, he would always praise the player, even if his choices are negative. I actually think that the important female Kerbal would be the lead of the Astronaut Recruiting and Training program. Hey, why else do you think Kerbals would all swarm over a job that they know that has a 90% of failure? It actually looks more of a reference to Linux to me. But this would be far too obvious. -
In AddictionToGaming's words: "It's not the car's fault if the person behind the wheel sucks at driving". Huh, I always thought that more weight meant less speed. Isn't speed engine-dependent - or, in the case of KSP, wheel-dependent?
-
I can still believe in it. I don't think part deformation will be that interesting, but hey - it's my opinion.
-
Probably will, since the air tower is directly connected to the Spaceplane Hangar. So no more spaceplanes for you. Fair point, but hey - those are the burdens of keeping graphics and high FPS at the same time.

The FPS issues from trashable buildings can be averted if the buildings use one model for each percentage of health left. For example, at 100-86% health, it uses the standard model. At 85-60% health, the building has some dents and broken windows, as well as scorch marks, but nothing else. At 59-36% health, the building has holes and many other dents in it, leaving it considerably unstable. At 35-1%, many pieces of the building are missing due to exessive damage, smoke comes out of the building and you cannot access it anymore. At 0%, it is just a pile of rubble, with a few (damaged)objects sticking out of it.
