  1. I somehow doubt he died in a freak car accident and somehow we didn't find out.
  2. I called it. God, people die way too often. So sad.
  3. This. Uplink has all the little details that make games great, with a fantastic hacking setting. Someone has to make something similar to this SOON.
  4. Phishing happens all the time, it's just frequent now.
  5. This War of Mine. It's generic, uninteresting and popular.
  6. I give thirty seconds till something ruins the new year.
  7. Even in fictional video games set in alternate realities, Japanese stuff looks better than American stuff. I am not surprised.
  8. Nothing, yet. I'm gonna get 27 assorted games.
  9. Ain't got time for no maps. I got phantom physics on my side! (37 Kerbals died testing that)
  10. Kerbal golf is a sport to me: "TO JOOL WITH YOOOUU" So yes. A lot.
  11. I just tossed tons of fuel tanks together and glued an engine on the bottom.
  12. They send in the Space Police to get them. Which then results in a high speed Space Chase.
  13. Same premise, but a little more thought out. Guess KSP is more moddable then I thought.
  14. Now, this probably won't work. I've done an experiment with 3 Kerbals out in the fringes of the universe in KSP before (It's a thread somewhere) and it did not end well. So I'm not expecting this to be possible. Of course, here's how I'd assume this would work, if at all: Because of how KSP handles planets and moons, it wouldn't be impossible to add large "planets" to function like suns (That would subsequently rotate around the current sun, and thus create a spiraling galaxy effect) and "moons" to function like actual planets. This would require putting these far away from Kerbin and Kerbol, so they may not be accessible in the first place, but with size adjustments to these planets and moons to make them LOOK like suns and planets (Something I'm unsure is possible), this might actually work. So, this is out there if someone wants to try it.
  15. Hmm.... Cold War + Space Race Peace Cold War Peace Tell me which seems like the best for the people? Seriously people, a Cold War won't bring anything. Nothing. No space race is worth the risk. A few years without space is far better then running the risk of being nuked (From space) every half hour. Nothing good is gonna come of this. Of course, if we're being hypothetical, it's a one in a million shot. But it would probably be the best scientific advancement when all's said and done, and people have made friends again. Often times the least likely things are the things that are either cataclysmic, or greatly beneficial.
  16. I'm in no way old school but listen to this: Bullying isn't going to stop unless people make it stop. Burying your heads in the sand and hoping that the higher authorities can handle the issue isn't going to help, you need to face it. Bullies are a form of evolution, natural selection but in reverse if you will. People who power through the issue (Or look back on it and cringe at how they could of handled it) end up with thicker skin, it's like when you see something so scary nothing else scares you, but in this case you get tormented so bad nothing can hurt you. You develop social skills through these events, but it's also a wake up call. You aren't as powerful and important as you think you are. You learn your place on the food chain (And how unimportant it is, as society likes to be pretentious sometimes). You learn how NOT to be entitled and sensitive, and you also learn to pass on such experience. If you're being bullied, you can/should do this: Deal with it, just ignore it. Those words mean nothing (Opinions are worthless) and they RELY on your reaction, just don't care and sit there. You can think angry thoughts if you want to, but just let him say what he wants and don't fight back until it gets physical. Then when the time comes, punch him. The worse thing that can happen is you get put in detention for a few days, the best thing is that he gets both discouraged and scared, and brought into detention for fighting back. Your injuries will heal (And give you bragging rights) at some point.
  17. I have nothing better to do this weekend (Gaming has been slow recently) so I decided to take this opportunity to cleanse my PC of pretty much anything that could be on it. Considering I've never clicked on a link a virus bot sent me (Not every forum has DDOS protection), don't browse dodgy sites and things of the like (Though I swear Mediafire is out to get me.), I'm pretty sure I won't end up with any viruses anytime soon. Considering I've cracked down on the Adware incursions I've gotten and no longer have to worry about those, I might as well get started cleaning out anything else I might have. Some things that are preferable when looking for a scanner are: - Free, or cheap one time payment. - One a trusted website or something of the like - Something that won't actively interfere with my browsing experience. And yes, I've somehow gone an entire year without a virus protection program and have yet to lose anything. I'm fantastic. Edit: Adware came up mid YouTube watching, I removed it in minutes but I also didn't install anything or click on any websites. What made THAT happen?
  18. As a KSP Player I confirm this to be accurate. 20/10. Hilarious.
  19. Extra Credits is wrong with a lot of stuff you know. This was no exception: Saying there are 9 possible outcomes is just an overstatement, game demos aren't meant to be awesome they show off how the game is to coax people they want to target (And thus, large audiences) into buying the game. There are only ever 4 outcomes (And demos don't take a lot of money to make, rip parts of the game out and let people play them, like in HM2's demos). - Your demo is truthful, but the game is crap. - Your demo is not truthful, but the game is crap. - Your demo is truthful and the game is great. - Your demo is not truthful and the game is good. The reason we don't see demos is because they allow consumers to make up their minds before money is spent and thus add to the risk. Risk means you might not make as much money, which is bad because you may have to settle for 24 Flat Screen TVs, instead of 25.
  20. I'm pretty sure it could do either, but pretty much this. But I'm speaking out my ass. It's actually (When you break it down) just simplified Cleverbot. It can look back on things it was asked before and know the answers in advance, and can learn more depending on how obscure the character is. While Cleverbot needs to evolve to have a interesting and intelligent conversation by having a less intelligent conversation before, adding to it's bank of knowledge. The more conversations it has, the more intelligent conversations it can have because it had a wide variety of topics to choose from the past, and learning how to respond to those conversations from past experience. It really is just a broken down Cleverbot, though using entirely different code, but the premise is the same.
