  1. Yep, we are intentionally not installing any of the Flags. "TriggerAu-Flags" is an optional module in case anyone would want your Flags, in which case they have to install them explicitly and there will always be only one provider for those two images.
  2. Interesting idea, could you please open up an issue / enhancement request at github? https://github.com/KSP-CKAN/CKAN/issues would be the best place for this.
  3. We had to split out the Flags from each of his mods because KAC, AlternateResource and so on stepped on their respective toes. No CKAN package is allowed to overwrite files from another package. We had to introduce update logic for packages that contained broken install sections, those re-installs might have bitten you. Your best way forward would be to just install the Flags, thereby actually installing things like how TriggerAu intended to...
  4. AD == AutoDetect. Basically, mods you had installed before starting to use CKAN.
  5. Nice, thank you for taking it on your road map. You will be faster than me anyway, seeing as how I have to hack on CKAN a bit more
  6. Missions are always more important than documentation... It's SCRUMing the Kerbal way
  7. One small thing... Could you perhaps upload the archive as an .zip file? Makes things easier for me
  8. Is there a way to indicate a vessel should have only parts from a certain manufacturer and / or author? I would love to set up a contract where Professor Phineas Kerbenstein wants to show the world that the only way to space hegemony is via his vertical propulsion emporium and thereby requires satellite / mun base / whatever be created with only parts sanctioned by his empire
  9. Well, it is distributed on Curse (and mediafire...), so unfortunately our robots would not automatically pick up new releases. I'll write up a 1.3 file later on. ----- And available via CKAN now...
  10. Aaaaand here we go: $ ckan show ContractConfigurator-SCANsat SCANsat mission pack: A Mission pack creating SCANsat contracts Module info: - version: 1.0 - authors: SimonTheSourcerer - status: stable - license: public-domain Depends: - ContractConfigurator - SCANsat Provides: - ContractConfigurator-SCANsat Resources: - repository: https://github.com/SimonTheSourcerer/CCSCANsatMissionPack Showing 10 installed files: - GameData/CC_Contracts - GameData/CC_Contracts/SCANsat - GameData/CC_Contracts/SCANsat/ScanDres.cfg - GameData/CC_Contracts/SCANsat/ScanDuna.cfg - GameData/CC_Contracts/SCANsat/ScanEeloo.cfg - GameData/CC_Contracts/SCANsat/ScanEve.cfg - GameData/CC_Contracts/SCANsat/ScanKerbin.cfg - GameData/CC_Contracts/SCANsat/ScanMinmus.cfg - GameData/CC_Contracts/SCANsat/ScanMoho.cfg - GameData/CC_Contracts/SCANsat/ScanMun.cfg @tattagreis: I am aware that the license is not shown to be "WTFL", I'll check on our side what the problem might be.
  11. tattagreis, I am impressed, truly impressed with this. One final request though, could you please upload it as a "zip" file? This would help me tremendously Also, if you don't intend on further maintaining your set of files, if you want, I can take them and put to github and maintain them there...
  12. Now we are seriously off-topic for this thread, but... How exactly does Curse earn money? Do they have any interest in continuing to provide service for the KSP community if and when things go sour between Squad and Curse? Please don't misunderstand me, I really would love to know, especially as I have encountered Curse only when Squad allied with them, and then only to turn away shudderingly as they bombarded me with a metric ....load of advertisements before even being able to download one single file...
  13. ckan list will give you a list of installed mods Interesting idea. Would you mind terribly to hop over to our github ( https://github.com/KSP-CKAN/CKAN-support/issues ) and enter an enchancement request?
  14. Yes, but what do you do if Curse goes south? It's not like that we did not have Spaceport which failed, right? I think your misgivings should be much more about Kerbalstuff, which holds all the metadata. If CKAN dies, you have the github and can set up your own clone in half a day, but if KS dies, we all would have some real head-scratching to do... That's why I always ask modders to kindly upload to at least two places.
  15. One is for the released parts of BoxSat, the other for the prototype parts. I'll check whether the names are recognizably different.
  16. You meant, there is modding outside of kerbalstuff. It would be wonderful if all developers would upload (automagically) all versions their mods to github, kerbalstuff, curse, their own site, google drive, dropbox and what-have-you. Not wanting to put *that* kind of burden on anyone, we try to index whatever we can get our grubby little fingers on. Also, CKAN is only an installation frontend. You are always welcome to download the mod zipfile and install it yourself into GameData.
  17. Wow. I am not impressed. I am not jealous. No. Not at all... /me runs to the corner, softly crying.... Man, that is a sweet setup you have going there
  18. Yes, this is one of the main design goals of CKAN. CKAN does it's best to reach that goal. Improvement pull requests welcome.
