I don\'t but only because, like joey, my parents are Christian, not me. Though they don\'t know that yet. I have more important things to deal with than revealing my beliefs or lack of beliefs to me family, would only cause unnecessary trouble. I mean, since I don\'t think a deity or anything exists, and therefore things involved with it are not relevant, I fail to see any great impending need for me to state my stance. But that\'s just me. I can respect someone who values their position enough to actively support it. Just don\'t go door to door and refuse to leave people alone.

Toot war? Well, I did play Rome total war and I thought it was great (I think the Romans were awesome as well). I never played any of the other ones unfortunately. Hmm... Someone who is a fellow destruction Mage in Skyrim. I WILL BECOME THE MOST POWERFUL WIZARD IN THE HISTORY OF TAMRIEL! -
Mine\'s August 26th, not 8th. I meant that Keuropean was no longer alone in August, not on that day. Sorry If that was confusing.

So, what are they? My two top ones are probably October Sky and Jean de Florette. October Sky because of the content (Rocketry/Space) and how well it was done, and Jean de Florette simply because it\'s an amazing film, glad our French teacher showed it to us.

Yup, I hate Call of Duty. Someone who has a solar telescope. -
I may have discovered how to map the Mun community wide.
Rascal Nag replied to VincentMcConnell's topic in KSP1 Discussion
That would be awesome. Maybe make a new tab on the website for it. I mean, Unity is browser-friendly, right? -
There was a 5.8 quake in Virginia in August, was felt all the way up to NY. And even that was pretty unsettling. At least for me I guess, since my room is in the top floor of the house. Was kind of weird, I felt some odd vibrations or something before the most active part occurred, but I thought it was nothing. I can\'t really imagine what a 7.8 must be like. Glad everyone\'s okay.

There and back again (again)

I may try a tug as well, if I get around to this. Probably will have it so the tug stays with the ship and then parks in lunar orbit, because I want to be able to fit the lander in a SpaceJanitor-like thing easily. Only problem is making sure the things don\'t slip apart, I\'d have to have them separate after the initial injection burn, then warp, then rejoin as they near Munar periapsis, then enter an orbit, then carefully exit and land. Then do the same thing again, but backwards. Will be an adequate test of skill. -
I would have gone for 'Sea of Insecurity' To be honest.
-
Nova, is that an actual add-on made in SpaceEngine or just planets that looked similar? Edit: Wait, disregard that, I see it is an actual system then. Awesome.

Thou hast placed a morsel of the art of Geoffrey Chaucer here, hast thou not?
-
Well, do you? And if so, how do you go about it? I don\'t actually think of a video topic usually, unless it\'s very general. Usually I run across a piece of music I like and think of how I could make a recording of something that fits it.

Do you like to listen to music while you play KSP?
Rascal Nag replied to Douglasdtlltd's topic in The Lounge
Yes. Mostly classical music, particularly the kind that climaxes in a way conducive to large explosions occurring at the same time. Example: 1812 overture by Tchaikovsky. -

This long enough? Someone who has a scenic picture of Kerbin. Post the picture as well. -
At the moment, NASA and ESA already do many, many things together. However, I doubt a blatant joining of the two would fly with many of the people here in the U.S., unfortunately. People here are nationalist already. Any candidate for any office who would suggest that NASA be joined with a foreign agency would be branded as unpatriotic, ESPECIALLY by the far right wingers. You couldn\'t do such a thing without a huge backlash from a large portion of the population. It may make sense if you look at it rationally, but less and less people are thinking rationally in the world today. America\'s being hit pretty hard by that.

Nope. A Master rocket scientist. -
As the writer of the petition, I do agree that I would rather have a program for the entire world. But at the same time, to put off space flight until one global program is formed is naive. There is far too much resentment among the different societies of the world to have a global space agency any time soon, we don\'t live in a utopia where such a thing would be possible. To drop space flight until that point in the far future arrives is not politically sound as well as a detriment to scientific progress as a whole. It doesn\'t matter if everyone does it or one person does it, what\'s right is right and pushes mankind forward. As you see, I made no mention of other space programs from other countries as competitors in the entire petition. When humanity expands its frontier, whoever does it is doing a service to the world.

I messaged the creator of the video, and he signed the petition, so that\'s great. -

Removed broken link, trbinsc has a working one. Thank you to trbinsc for putting this up. -
IDEA TIME Make a balloon Strap a rocket to it Balloon goes up Launch when you\'re already many kilometers up. If this works, I think it may be the only chance you would have of getting into space, orbit is just wishful thinking unfortunately. But still: If the balloon is strong enough to not burst, you could get up fairly high. If you replicated what was done in the video posted earlier, you would already have 30.78 km behind you, a little under 1/3rd of the way to space. However, a rocket that can climb about 70 km/43 miles would be VERY hard to build. But of course, it\'s no guarantee you would be able to keep the rocket stable when launching from a balloon...

Just to clarify, you just mean do not say anything about the video then just have it at the end, correct? Not remove it? -

'We, the undersigned, request that NASA be made able to inspire this nation. It is repulsive that the greatest era of our nation, and maybe even the planet, was struck down before its time. The dreams of a country are now dying. The US needs a kick. We need to inspire the populace, placing within them a fire of innovation and ambition. Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo did this. But with no manned space program, a whole generation has little to motivate them. And with no drive in students, it\'s no wonder education is failing. No one wants to learn. But if we show our youth what\'s possible and what this nation can do, and electrify this generation, America will ride a wave of prosperity of a level never before seen. And we\'ve got a starting point: A Penny for NASA. http://youtu.be/CbIZU8cQWXc' How\'s this?
