  1. Anyone know where the NavUtilities hotfix is? Downloading the navutilities from github doesn't work. It's buggy.
  2. Thanks for replying! That did the trick. Was sort of hard to see on my 14" laptop screen and playing without a mouse to zoom in with. Playing on Intel HD 4000 on a Sandy Bridge i5 3320M. Runs at ~50+FPS, which is great. No slowdowns detected. No problem about the updates. Better to wait it out a bit. I'm all for stability. Good job on the mod. Really impressive. Makes flying a joy.
  3. So I'm sitting on the runway trying to start this thing. My KSP version is 1.1.3. RPM version 0.27.1. OS is Windows 10. AC version 0.4. First, I powered on the battery (the switch with the black cover), pressed the reset button on the center LCD to the left of the gear lever, then I pressed and held the engine start button. It doesn't do anything after that. I get a sizzle noise (like when you first start the engine) and that's it. The LED indicators are lighted up for IRS and ELEC. My "gnd power on" button doesn't work. The blue LED does not light up. Anyone having the same problems?
  4. I noticed the flaps' controls are reversed. Is this a bug or do I have to manually set which direction control surfaces pivot to? For example, when I press the "S" key, the plane wants to do a nosedive instead of going up, and vice versa. When I press the "A" button, the plane rolls to the right instead of left, and vice versa...
  5. Gotta say, this mod makes KSP much more fun and gives each Kerbal a character. Any plans on including a Master Chief helmet? Would look really cool lol, but ya never know if Micro$oft will sue ya
  6. Thank you so much Paolo. Modders are truly the stars of this game. Squad should have done this long ago, but they didn't. You came along and saved us from the trouble of misaligned wheels and planes veering off the runway. Again, thank you.
  7. Yes, just an illustration That's pretty silly expecting a SRB to fly with those tiny winglets
  8. Halp! I don't have a center of lift arrow in KSP 0.25, and also, my planes seem not to have very much lift, even with gigantic wings. I have to make them go over 200m/s just to get airborne (and most of the work is done just by the thrust vectoring instead of the wings' lift). What's going on? The mods I have installed include: RealChutes, FAR version 14.3.1, Aviation Lights, BDArmory, RasterProp Monitor, KAS, Infernal Robotics, MechJeb, Procedural Dynamics, and Tweakscale. Module manager version is 2.5.1. Here's a screenshot:
  9. OOhh ok lol. I guess I will delete this thread. Or a moderator if I can't XD
  10. So, my KSP loading screen came up just a little bit different today... I was cracking up What the Kell? Anyone know how I can debug this "bug"? Edit: NVM, it's an easter egg How the...what the...where the...
  11. Also waiting for this mod. Right now, it works, but it's really slow on KSP 0.23.5. Buggy. Takes a while for the wheels to spin up. Also, I can't go in reverse with the tracks.
  12. Just wanted to leave thumbs up for this mod. It's really awesome. Now I can finally reuse rocket stages without parachutes getting ripped off from the shock of going from 100-200m/s to less than 8m/s in an instant. I landed on Duna today using this mod and I went from 300m/s to around 20m/s using chutes (and with FAR installed) without having my rocket ripped to pieces. Suggestion: Would love it if you could include an option within the VAB where you can change the deployment altitude and/or pressure deployment. At the moment, I can only do that while outside. I'm running KSP 0.23.5.
  13. +1 for multi-threading here also I always recommend KSP to all my friends, but I'm hesitant to do so sometimes for those that have low clocked processors (but with multiple cores).
  14. Hi, I'm very interested in this project. I am not into modelling, but I thought I'd drop in here to cheer you all on! KSP really needs more scenery; endless green terrain and oceans are no fun!
  15. Hmm weird...I just overwrote the Firespitter directory with the same unzip and now the propellers started to spin! So guys, if your propellers aren't spinning for some reason, just overwrite your current Firespitter directory withe another unzip!
  16. Hi there, I have installed this mod and the wings, engines, and cockpits are great. They work just fine. Just one issue I have is that the propellers do not spin, but they do produce thrust. I installed the mod according to instructions: unzipped the zip, get presented with a folder called "Firespitter," and paste this directory into the GameData folder. I am on KSP 0.23. Any ideas?
  17. Thank you so much! This mod makes building satellites and rovers a real joy, because without these fairings, real satellites and other vehicles would get torn apart due to terrible aerodynamics and airflow. (I'm also using FAR mod, and this mod works great with it) One issue though: my KSP rocket launches load slowly when I include fairings, but loads normally without them. Any idea why?
  18. Thank you so much! I needed this a lot, especially with FAR mod installed--fuel tanks that are aerodynamic (have nosecones and winglets) often come in at >200m/s, even with 4x radial parachutes, often making my tanks disintegrate when the shock of going from 200m/s to <10m/s happens. Useful for a reusable space program. +rep I would like this added in the stock game. Very useful.
  19. I also vote for better aerodynamics! At the moment, I am using FAR mod, and Ferram did an AMAZING job with it. I love it. In some ways, the game is made harder, but in other ways, easier. Getting to orbit now is much more realistic. Honestly, it shouldn't take 4 Rockomax orange tanks with Mainsail engines to get just a Rockomax 1/2 grey tank into orbit--that is highly unrealistic. With far, it takes me only 2 tanks with Mainsails + 1/4th tank with Skipper to get into orbit. Much more realistic. You also have to worry about your planes and rockets ripping apart due to drag and G-forces using FAR, and I absolutely love that challenge.
