  1. I'm practicing docking maneuvers at the moment, so I set up a target vehicle in low Mun orbit, then sent up a crew vehicle. Because of the way the crew vehicle had to do the transfer burn, it ended up orbiting in the opposite direction to the target vehicle.
  2. These are awesome. I'd love to see them in-game, but they're being made for RSS, aren't they?
  3. I enjoyed Minecraft back when it was in beta, but I've moved on since then.
  4. Kraken to starboard! Fire the cannon!
  5. My first successful docking! After several days in space, CV-1 Star-Lord docked with the unmanned target vehicle.
  6. Recently re-read The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Over the summer, I'm meaning to read The Handmaid's Tale for A-level English, but that depends on whether A) I actually find the time to, with all these video games and if I'm still going to be doing English next school year. Also, I should probably get more Ciaphas Cain books. If you haven't heard of it, it's a series set in Warhammer 40K that's somewhat reminiscent of Blackadder. If you haven't heard of THAT, then there is no hope for you.
  7. The car I really want is the Caterham 7. It's like Doctor Who- it's awesome because it's weird and British.
  8. I tried replacing FAR with NEAR, and KSP crashes during loading. 9. I need a glass of water, but only because Merrie Olde Englande is in the middle of a heatwave.
  10. So, I've been thinking about the recent return of space sims, like Star Citizen, Elite Dangerous and to a lesser extent KSP itself, and I've been thinking about the old Wing Commander series. I never played them, being way before my time, but I did fall in love with one of Roberts' later games, Freelancer. Anyway, should I check out the old Wing Commander games, or have they been truly surpassed by later games?
  11. A lot of people are saying that SQUAD should implement FAR in 0.25. I agree in principle, that the aerodynamics should be overhauled, but FAR is a very complex mod that's a female dog to design planes for, especially with only vanilla parts.
  12. I typically use it for transferring crew to landing modules or, in Career mode, retrieving science from the experiments before ditching them.
  13. You know you play too much KSP when you start wondering if you have enough delta-V to get to school on time.
  14. Set our hearts alight, for the stars we fly, one of us will be the saviour... And our souls will fly, hope will never die, in the heart of this crusader!
  15. Whilst I admit, there are a number of mods I would love to see become stock at some point, like FAR, EVE, KAC and maybe a 'lite' version of Interstellar, there are a number of issues I can see arising from this, like copyright (related to who owns the mods), balance, system requirements, and as was mentioned above, people on the forums constantly asking for mods to be made stock.
