  1. OK.. The first issue was solved with a new install.. now im getting this issue.. Cant stage the rocket, nothing.. just sits there, and get a fuel flow of NaNU.. Mods are as follows.. Toolbar Chaka BETA DRE Rastaprop KJR Mechjeb RealChute SelectRoot ShipManifest KAC

  5. Thats what i am saying man... Basically the most legendary part of the whole US space program, and not a single person has even fully replicated it... either its just the Saturn V, or the LEM, or the CSM. but never a complete Apollo pack.. If i even had the slightest idea of how to do any of this i would spend every free moment i had (which, sadly, is quite alot) making the best Apollo mod i could.. Maybe its like the real Apollo program and we got to wait almost a decade for it to be finished.. =P
  6. Seriously.. i sat around in major anticipation for this dream come true to be finished for a month, to basically be told your going to leave it half done and move onto something else? Major disappointment..
  7. This little bug can actually be compounded by mechjeb... Sometimes (i havent found a system to make this 100% repeatable) When switching from one vessel to another in close proximity with one another, both with mechjeb, one having a Smart ASS function on (kill rot/pro-retro, or the like), when you switch back to it, the vessel will appear to twitch about, because two systems are fighting each other for attitude control. This is simply fixed by changing the control reference part... Its a strange one.. lol

  9. Yeah, because fairing, said over a slightly garbled 1970's radio transmission sounds exactly like slop, or SLA handles.. your right.. fairings is so much closer..

  11. Lmao.. Next we will have a flying RV like Spaceballs... lol.... And to be honest, i have NO idea why, or where 'slop handles' came from, but thats what they are.. If you watch this live feed of the Apollo 13 T&D you can hear them refer to them SEVERAL times as 'slop handles' so theres your source.. EDIT: go to 5:00 of the video and watch from there... "We now see the LEM, minus its SLOP HANDLES"
  12. Hate to be a stickler for detail, but alas i am... They are called Slop Handles, not fairings.. Fairings cover a payload over the nose of a rocket, slop handles were a specific, one-of design for the Apollo program to protect the LEM and offer a rigid attachment point for the CSM. Not trying to be ****, but ive seen them called everything from fairings to 'flower pedals'.... Slop Handles.....
  13. Found a bug, dont know if its been reported... You DO NOT want to be in IVA and use crew manifest to transfer crew about your ship.. You will lose your GUI, and be forced to reload.. I dont have logs because this didnt happen on my computer, but im sure i could reproduce and send logs if you need..
  14. Hey Trigger... You should figure a way to get the alarm system to integrate in with the warning lights and systems of the rasterprop system.. That would be some cool jazz right there... lights a blinkin and alarms a buzzin as you burn up trying to aerocapture around jool.... *sigh* good times...

  16. Right.. i use FASA, but not only its fuel cells, but its reaction wheels are powered with monopropellant, not fuel. Im sure thats just a easy change of a string or two of code (i wouldnt know, im far from a modder), but i wanted to make sure to point out it was monoprop, not fuel in FASA that powers the genny... ~Godspeed
  17. Another thing i would like to add before i forget it... i was watching your video for the CSM launch, and i took to note that it just had a large power supply, and no way to recharge it. (unless i overlooked something)... The real CSM used a hydrogen fuel cell (three to be exact) to recharge the batteries on a cycle that the astronauts changed between auto, and manual charging modes, and also a battery selector to choose what bank to charge... May i toss a reccomendation to you that before the release of this CSM\LM you think about maybe cutting down on the stored power in the CSM, use a built in generator (fuel cell) that trickle charges your batteries at a cost of hydrogen fue,l all user toggled, .. balance it obviously to suit, but i think it would add a great deal of real depth into your mod.... if your going to go to the effort to make it look so beautiful (which you have) you might as well throw as much real gear into it as you can.. Give us 'realism' and 'history' buff players something really special to sink our teeth into... Iono, just a thought from a guy that plays way too much of this game.. lol... keep up the good work. ~Godspeed
  18. I just wanted to start this off with 'awesome work, and the alarms are a touch that this game was seriously lacking.' Im not 100% sure if its this mod or not, im going to start some troubleshooting here in a few minutes because it was so late last night when i downloaded the update and ran it i couldnt be asked to figure it out... But since i updated this last night (had to get it for the alarms. awesome work again), when in the main flight screen, the diamond box that highlights near objects, and the one that shows what your targeting (color difference) do not appear for me anymore.. approaching something in orbit on the dark side, i have NO indication of where any vessel is, or what my relation is to target... Pretty sure its this mod because it didnt occur untill i updated Lemme know if you need any other info from me, or a better explanation.. like i said.. im going to start to troubleshoot it here in a moment.. EDIT: Having some other game issues.. think i might have a bit of corruption and might need a new install of the game and my mods.. Side note, i always make sure to delete the old copy, and fresh extract. never overwrite... -- secondary problem was between keyboard and chair... going back to working on primary issue --- Spent all night troubleshooting and testing mods and compatibility. the issue was in my copy of mod itself.. something just didnt download right.. Just a reinstall of it didnt fix it, i had to redownload it, than reinstall it.. now shes working like a champ.. Going to download the V2 and give her a go.. (noticed the NaN issue someone else was speaking of) Thanks for the awesome mod..
  19. Seriously... I cant believe it has taken this long for someone to make a actual proper Saturn V with CSM/LM for doing a REAL Apollo-esque moon mission.... This is one thing the game was seriously lacking and i cant wait untill this is finished.. probably the most anticipated mod for me at the moment besides a B9 update () No pressure, make it perfect, but for the love of Kod (see what i did there?) let me play with it.. lol.. ~Godspeed
  20. Im having a serious issue with the soyuz. Every time i try to launch it, right on the launchpad it starts to toss Null exceptions. ive removed the mod and replaced it, with no success..let me know what info you need from me to figure out the problem.. Thanks in advance.
