[0.25] Astronomer's Visual Pack - Interstellar V2
daawgees replied to Astronomer's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Same here; although I suspect it's because I opted to NOT install the lens flare. However, I'm going to change that when I get home today since the lens flare doesn't look too oppressive and actually looks pretty sick. -
Is there something I'm missing or another mod that I need? Having trouble constructing the Voyager since the hangar and VAB are too small to effectively attach the parts correctly.

[0.25/0.90] Better Atmospheres [V5 - June 14th, 2014]
daawgees replied to Thesonicgalaxy's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I just wanna throw my 2 cents in here; I would suggest upgrading, if possible for you, to Win7 or Win8 x64. -
I'm having a problem of my own now. Info first: KSP .242 32-bit, Windows 8.1 x64; using MechJeb 308. The issue I'm experiencing involves Landing AP; I've noticed that during descent to any surface the AP fires the engines in spurts rather a nice steady slow burn to the ground. This results in my craft coming to a hover several hundred meters above the landing point and remaining there while the ship turns about firing the engines in bursts. In order to rectify this I did try to turn on the 'smooth throttle' option under utilities but this has not worked. I'm sure there is further information that I need to provide, anyone have any idea about how to resolve this?

Need some help, I installed hyper edit specifically as instructed by the website. Extracted/unzipped the contents of the downloaded file into the KSP game folder, launched game, went to the pad, pressed alt-h, nothing happens. What can I do to resolve this and what information will you need in order to assist?

I think the problem people are running into is they are running multiple mods in addition to MJ. I currently am running #221 and have experienced zero problems except those that I know I caused myself. Also, I'm noticing people are asking for edits to the MJ code that will make certain features more convenient. My personal opinion, if MJ works perfectly, as it seems to in the build that I'm currently using, I would much rather make a few extra clicks and type a few numbers rather than having to wait for yet another dev build just for a feature that merely caters to convenience. Forgive me for sounding like a broken record but the MJ team works on this incredible mod during their spare time and offer this add-on to us for FREE.
