  1. *I* use it on all my vehicles! i would prefer a method to use Anti-Lock as default brake mode though...trying to drive and hit alt-B at the same time sometimes requires more fingers than I have available lol

  3. Goodspeed has a Discovery command pod, but what *I* want is the antenna...I managed to create a similar three-dish arrangement using IR, but it kinda sucked. AAAnnnd, as it was a pre-.24 design, it won't load anymore
  4. I'm using a similar turbojet base (with wings) to make a hybrid craft, SSTO to ~40k, then drop the wings and turbojets and finish orbit on a LV909. I'm only using it as a "Rescue the Idiot" ship, very small.

  7. I think I remember reading here somewhere that the dock reset distance is 1.5 meters.

  9. Even easier would be to use Editor Extensions, and get up to 99x symmetry.

  13. Very impressive. how did you manage to land the rocket close enough to dock with the tunnel, about how did you make the bendy joints? (I see one at the rocket, and one at the com center, and one at some hab modules)
  14. From a glance, the high versions have different nose cones. If its not too late, I'd love to request a bit of feature creep...Could you include a readme file with the empty mass of the stages, so we can calculate appropriate chute numbers to safely recover the stages to < 6m/s, that would be AWSOME. I'm already adding in probe core modules (probe core, battery, and antenna, and a tiny RCS tank if appropriate) clipped into the SAS modules to assist in recovery, but I keep running into lithobraking issues , even with a metric butt ton of chutes.
  15. Depends on the definition of profitable...a mission where you loose money but get a metric butt ton of science is profit, even if you lose money. Then, if you use one of the stage recovery mods, the variability of the returned stage adds some more math...

  17. The spaceplane guidance system will attempt to maintain a specific altitude.
  18. I do NOT have texture replacer or EVE. I saw those intro screens about 5 times this week.
  19. A glitch from the use of mods? You show me ANY mod that includes a model of a shovel. The helmet-less screens with shovel are obviously a Squad parody of the "Moon landing was faked" conspiracy, therefore, an easter egg.
  20. Hmm...you could prolly fit a few more boosters on it...
