  1. With this short tutorial I'll show you how to build an automated tracking craft without the KAL controller, which you can use in several ways, to improve your gameplay.
  2. About This is a new version of the old 'Launch Pad Lamp' mod I had previously released. This new version is closer to what I had originally intended when I started this mod 2 years ago as it now includes the tracking functionality. Features Spotlight can track the active vessel or current target Tracking can be disabled or enabled per light Light parameters can be modified in flight via the right click action menu (color, spotlight cone angle, intensity, range) New emissive animation for the Launch Spotlight Updated materials to use KSP mapped shader New M.T.S. LED tracking spotlight (smaller LED version intended for use on crafts or for docking assistance) Note: The intensity and range values allow for some extreme values. The intention is these lights could be used for ambient lighting around a base or by lighting up distant terrain. 3. The first one took several days for us to finally get predictions, and by that time they drifted apart and are obviously a lot less easy to see with naked eye right now. They're still relatively close, at least some parts of the "train". https://heavens-above.com/StarLink.aspx Post your observations here.
  4. I find myself looking at the tracking station list a lot to see what to do next. It would be nice if it there was some simple sort options. sort by: next maneuver date ( so I dont miss something important and can see what I need to schedule next) launch date (so I can find my old ships) type (ship / lander/ rovers / asteroids etc. name soi location ( so I can find quickly find my assets that are near Mun, Duna, etc. crew capacity (might be useful to see something like 1 of 3, or n/a, so you know you have space to rescue 2 more)

    KSP Head tracking?

Does KSP happen to be compatible with the DIY/Low Cost TrackIR alternatives, specifically opentrack?
  6. How can I disable rendering patched conics for a vessel? I want it to look like before you upgrade the tracking station, with just the grey orbit lines. Examples: (I got the images by taking a screenshot without/with the tracking station upgraded.) I need to be able to switch back and forth between the two modes, so nothing permanent. How can I do this via code?
  7. Hi, I think it would be great if the next manoeuvre time was shown on the tracking station screen. That way we can simply switch to the next spacecraft that needs attention when we have multiple flights in progress.
