Let's see your KSP Blender renders!

Recently, user Dasoccerguy figured out a way to get KSP models into Blender, allowing you to make fully customizable renders of your KSP creations. For example, here is my stock Saturn V replica (link in my signature):

Zekes has also made some cool renders of his full-size stock Space Shuttle. This utility opens up a lot of cool possibilities for presenting KSP craft, so I wanted to create this thread to allow people to show off their KSP Blender renders.

Oh! Oh! Me first!

My computer slaved for eight hours over this image. 3000 x 4000 pixels and 3000 samples per pixel.

I have no idea what it'll look like in this post.

Wow, 8 hours! I only did 100 samples for mine because I didn't want to wait all day. I feel like you get diminishing returns after a certain point.

Yes. Somewhere between 1500 and 3000 samples is where it becomes very small... Though it looks cool as hell.

DOOOOOD! that's so many kinds of awesome! I'm a major noob when it comes to this kind of editing. Do you think you could do something like this for one of my Constellation craft come KSP version 1.0?

will it be working only with specific mods, or will there be a way to use any mod?

Theoretically, using a for loop and going through each file in GameData, then generating the list off of that, would work.

The .craft file goes in the same folder as the kspblenderdemo file. Also, I used Blender 2.68 for mine.

Thanks! I need to fix the horizon line to break it up more. Maybe toss in some more eye candy like a hangar out there some where? Oh, fire and smoke... I forgot about that completely

I'd suggest a back-left perspective, with the horizon about 3/5ths of the way up the image... but that's just me!

Here is an older one I was working on. No grass but added some heat distortion and light. Part of an animation I've been endlessly tinkering with. I'll have to dig out a frame where he is near straight on to the camera so you can see Jeb sitting in the cockpit. Anyway, here is Jeb pulling out a simple SSTO with the cockpit open .
