"Clean" Screenshots?

How can I take Clean screenshots without all the displays and icons all around the edges of the frame? I see you guys with shots of nothing but what you want to show as far as ships, scenery .etc. I'd like to take shots I can use as Wallpapers without the Junk all around the edges.

Press F2 on a windows keyboard, not sure if it'd work on mac or linux.

Edit: Macs require Fn + F2, according to the wiki.

Just have to use the function key on Mac/Linux, it works for me.

...since nobody mentioned it, after you press F2, press F1 to make the game take the screenshot. That avoids taking shots of the window border and/or desktop etc.

However, even with the window borders disabled, some messages will still clog up the screen, so take care not to send data, just changed timewarp speeds/ switched ships, or have an EVA kerbal near a ladder/door when preparing to take a shot.

These unhidable messages are something I hope are fixed in 1.0.
