Anybody else do acting?

So besides things like astronomy, physics, learning, space travel, space history, spacecrafts, and stuff like that, acting is one of my passions.

I have the tremendous honor of going to the International Thespian Festival this June, after my school's theatre team placed in the top 10 in the entire United States! I've only been with them for a year, and already we've done things that my high school has never done before. Getting main stage at ITF is something other thespians can only dream about, and we're doing it!

My drama teacher is also having me dabble in Speech and Debate. I recently did some work with a piece and sucked big time on it, so I'm hoping to find some other stuff I can do a bit better. I'm also considering writing a piece on the Apollo 1 fire.

Does anybody else here do any acting?

I've done some voice acting for various productions over the years. Nothing professional, just friends making shows. The most famous of those is probably Space Casey, wherein I play Al, the ship's computer.

I've dabbled in it, I was in a core role with only one line in only one show. Haven't been on stage since (other than in various choirs)

Back in my younger years I liked being on the backstage crew for plays. However, I don't do theater anymore.

I like to play supporting roles, or just work in the background. Also, I love speech writing and debating.

I've given up on stage related things, but I continue to write speeches for school and I love arguments (usually between family).

Saying that makes me sound strange... oh well...
