parachutes deploy factor

Ok so, with tweakable everything I've noticed that parachutes have this deploy factor, set to x20. What does it do? Does this just let me scale up the breaking it gives? where x 20 is the stock value?

Makes them deploy 20 times slower at a guess, the default deployment speed is essentially instantaneous and the shock this generates will frequently rip your vessels into pieces

That guess would be correct. I've used this value in the past, and it indeed influences the speed at which they open fully.

Beware of setting this too high and then forgetting to increase the deployment altitude...!

Still wondering the use of that when you could use RealChute :/

It's useful for getting slower, gentler chute deployments in a "lightweight" way (i.e. without other functionality or addon "baggage" and the possibility of interference). Edit: This is possible because the deploymentSpeed is a stock parachute parameter.
