(Turn-based) Kerbal Multiplayer Collaboration

I see a few spare docking ports on the station, and as yet no crew-transfer/escape vehicles, so when I get chance I'll throw a couple of those on to the Science-Hab Module close to where the crew actually operate. If part limits allow, I'll see about adding a universal docking hub to the station to allow other craft to connect and transfer supplies or re-fuel.

Not sure when this will be though, busy tomorrow, then away for 4 days for funeral and birthday (different people), so will grab the file whenever I can.

Years after sending Jeb to Eve, we now have a plan to get him home.

Xannari Ferrows will send a rover to transport him from the water base to the top of Helgrind.

Then someone will send the Hades EAV in the craft file repository to the top of Helgrind and it will take Jeb to Eve orbit.

Then the future Eve Station will have a vessel for him to return to Kerbin in.

Roger! Our team has prepared a vessel with the Delta-V requirements, but it is not tested... No time for that, though! It is all or nothing on this. If I don't come back... Ask Starwhip to take command of the team.

Luck be with us all!

[i'm so being melodramatic here; of course I know it works]

Do we have anything in orbit around Jool yet? If not I might try putting up a high/low pair of stations to support moon hopping exploration.

(I should have some time to grab the file this weekend, timezones permitting).

We have Correy, but that's about it.

How's it going down there, Correy?

We have a Caronte, a Hades, I added a Chronus. I *so* love greek mythology naming conventions (tho I use the spelling "Charon" in my save). May I suggest Poseidon for a fueling station?

On a side note, I'm thinking Chronus should either be moved to a less inclined orbit, or be kept mostly for decorative/roleplay reasons (I'll still like to put some stuff on it even still). Fuel on a polar orbit isn't the most useful thing.

Chronus does not seem to be a "useful" station. It won't be refueling anything, and polar orbits are pretty.

I can't seem to grab the file. I'm on mac and the persistent is just not working.

:(

I am also on a mac. I recommend getting the Unarchiver to handle that kind of file (it's free and handles most of this kind of trouble). It's what I used to open the file.

Correy says he is living in a cave. Also told me to give you, and the rest of kerbalkind, the finger for asking... he's very rude, for a kerbal. But he has been alone there for...

"Caronte" is the spanish for "Charon", though the phonetics of the English translation are for once much closer to the Greek than the Spanish (I just noticed that... and it's surprising to me). I still normally name my vessels in English in single player... just not to break immersion. :) Considering the ship is designed for long voyages through the black emptiness, it seems appropriate.

Also, I love that now all the craft's in orbit have pictures.

Oh, I knew that when I docked SciHab to it, but someone mentioned fuel later...

I think of LKO as "Earth" and outer space as "the void", thus "Hades", so to speak, so Charon is my ferry, and Persephone my reentry pod. I haven't named anything Hades yet, tho.

Oh, I had Orpheus for that. Persophone is nice too... I name my career munar program the "Archer" I, II... And instead of Mercury, "Messenger". It gives me a sense of epicness.

We already have Hades, it's our EAV. (I think of Eve's surface as the underworld for naming conventions.)
