Thanks

And despite its look, it is a fun, user-friendly VTOL ;)

Powered by 3 angled basic jet, the handling is really interesting in turn, kinda like matrix ships..

Perhaps only landing requires a bit of know-how.

Oh and I tested it with first person EVA, pretty cool yet glitchy =D

That's a lot of gizmo usage and lots of clipping there - in fact so many details that they are hard to make out.

Must have been hard to balance those 3 VTOL basic jets.

What tool did you use to make those schematic displays of the craft? It looks great!

And where have you hidden the fuel tank? Cause I can't seem to spot any from the pics.

The design reminds me of some JemHaddar attack craft ;)

It's weird that it is on the border of disorganization and magnificent design.

So compact, and functional, yet it has so many parts that it looks thrown together. While also somehow managing to be well-made and unique.

I'm having a lot of trouble expressing myself here. :D

Thanks a lot MJ, your Atlas/Curiosity never leaves my VAB it's quite awesome too!

Do you mean the Alien Hive?

In that case I did try to put some organic shape into it, so that's cool for me xD

Happy hovering!

Amazingly I couldn't find a decent pic of the one I mean. They don't look exactly like your craft obviously but the style is very similar for me.

If you've seen the movie its the craft that is destroyed above the petrol station.

I thought the movie was underrated. Especially the technology ideas used.

I saw some trailers, the ship looks kinda steampunk / sci-fi to me.

Oh gosh I hope not. I dislike the concept of steampunk, a lot.

The craft in the movie where, for me very believable given the nature of the aliens. And the way they move and stay aloft using those rapidly firing thrusters was awesome.

The movie is worth watching just for the aliens.

Sorry, I didn't mean steampunk as unrealistic, there's some neat concepts of it in RiseOfNation for instance (and there's some aliens too ^^)

Maneuvering by adjusting power of different thrusters on a craft is actually a good idea for a VTOL, quite similar to having SAS+RCS enabled in KSP.

Right I see, sorry to be blunt, strangely I feel quite strongly about it.

Yeah agreed, there is a thing you can fly in BF4 that has a similar thrust method. I forget the name of it though..

I think its one of the jets or a Chinook helicoptor

No problem MJ, to each its own taste.

Unfortunately I didn't play BF4 yet so I can't tell.

I'm brainstorming atm, trying to make a mini Ion ColdWeave, what a headache lol

If you like FPS its great! My new GPU runs it ultra @ 120 fps and it looks stunning. I'm an FPS player mostly. In fact, KSP is the first non violent game i have really enjoyed!

I cant wait to see the mini version!
