Insystem Mod for Kopernicus

Ever grow tired of the stock planets? They are always, unchangingly, the same. For awhile, we had alternis kerbin if we wanted to do something new. But the biome changes in .90 basically broke alternis kerbin, which is no longer supported, and I have nether the skills or the tools to fix.

But then Kopernicus was released. It didn't take long for me to realize that with this tool, it was possible to remake the KSP solar system without going back to school for computer programming.

What does this mod do?

It moves Moho and Eve closer the sun.

It moves lathe to its own orbit, to the inside of the stock kerbin orbit, where it is now circled by Mun and Minmus

It replaces Lathe with Bop. (This was entirely a quick-fix, and I hope to figure out a better solution later).

Jool now orbits on the outside of Kerbin's stock orbit.

Kerbin now orbits Jool in less inclined orbit close to where bop orbits in the stock game.

Duna orbits further away from the sun.

Recommendations.

This mod goes really, really well with the Outer planets mod (http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/104280-0-90-Outer-Planets-Mod-%281-5-5-1%29-TextureReplacer-incompatibility-fixed-1-Mar ) I highly recommend installing it.

Known problems

Sometimes ships appear in orbit, rather than on the launch pad. Just revert flight and launch again.

Some planets do not have .cfg files, and therefore their science values are unaltered.

In some installs, the vehicle appears inside the sun and explodes when first launched. Reverting to vehicle assembly and launching again fixes the problem. I'm unsure what causes this, or how to stop it from happening.

I'm sure there are other problems. I just haven't found them yet.

Hey this is really cool! As a new Kopernicus planet creator, I give you a tip: You can alter textures and surfaces using KopernicusTech.

Thank you! I fear that the lackluster response from the community indicates very few of them agree with you. Truthfully, I didn’t really expect a big response. I made this mod for use in my own games, and released it for the few who would enjoy it too.

I didn’t use Kopernicus Tech, because I didn’t really want to alter the planets themselves. It’s outside the scope of what I want this mod to do.

That said, there’s some temptation to make Jool have a oxygen atmosphere, similar to that theorized to be around some exoplanet-gas giants that orbit in the habitable zone of their star.

Actually, I still have a "Insystem Mod" that I use, but as many of the planets in it come from the New Horisons mod, it would be complicated and pointless to publish.

so the easiest and best solution is to use New Horizons.
