Kerbol keeps ruining my screenshot.

So I'm trying to get a nice picture, but the sun is in the background and it makes everything else too dark to see. Suggestions?

Really he should only try to take these pictures at night... Everyone knows that is the best time to land on the sun.

OP, perhaps you could try the ambient light adjustment mod? Normally it is used to make the game brighter when your craft are in Kerbin's shadow, but I just checked it and it also can make the game slightly darker.

You are obviously going too slow. 90405 m/s is just 0.03 % of the speed of light - therefore you are only emitting 0.03 % of the light you could, and the light from Kerbol is overpowering yours. Try accelerating a lot and show the damn star who's boss.

Needs to get much closer to his subject. And, you can't get much details anyways when you take your picture directly into the sun, even the Kerbal one.

Just set the sun on fire. Once it's burned down, it's not there anymore, so it can't bother you anymore.
