Greetings and welcome, to Kerbal Minds Corporation's official Kerbal Space Program 1.0 Hype Party! Here, players from everywhere can show their hype for the official release of KSP. Join us this Saturday and Sunday (4/25, 4/26) for an event on KMC's official DMP multiplayer server where players can play, fly and get hyped!

There will be several planned activities for the server, for one- a 1.0 "HypeStation" will be constructed and every player can help add to it! We will also have other activities- such as the most realistic Mars Landing (Duna Landing) craft(s)! As well as a stunt show!

I will also be hosting a Flight School for new players who want to join- but don't know how to build or fly yet. I will be teaching players how to build aircrafts and rockets, as well as teach them how to fly them. My lessons will also include landing (aircraft and spacecraft) tutorials, and docking lessons. Crafts will be given to players needing help to get started. Note: I will be teaching with Ferram Aerospace Research (FAR) mechanics enabled, due to the new aerodynamics being added in 1.0!!

Any streamers, let's players, etc may join! In fact we would greatly appreciate any popular players to invite their viewers to our server!

Lastly- there will be a random drawing, where three members of the server will win one of these prizes!

1st Place Winner: [Top Secret]

2nd Place Winner: Be the KMC's Commander in Chief for a day!

3rd Place Winner: A complete craft file set for every craft from Mercury to Apollo!

We will also sponsor any mods or YouTube channels that wish to have special mention in this event. Please notify me via PM if you would like to sponsor this event.

Let's hope- if it can't we'll recruit some other servers

hope so: my server's connection is acting up and i hope it will be resolved before the event.

Good thing i used a DNS address: if one server acts up, i can reroute the dns address to another server.

Just to be shure: if you can find somebody that will setup a server on stand by, that would be great.

Yeah- KSP 1.0 will be adding it.

Any crafts with decent engineering should still work. If not- just move some stuff around, wings forwards/backwards. Add control surfaces- etc. it shouldn't be like a like a overhaul like the mk3 parts overhaul was.

You do know how to host a server and that you have to portforward your server?

What do sponsors do?

They don't do anything- but throughout the event I you will be mentioned such as, "Thank you So-and-So Aerospace Corp for sponsoring us!". For us to do this for you, you also must help advertise this :P .

No sadly- this is everything from Launch to landing (both on Duna and on Kerbin). NASA has NOT officially selected a mode of transport there- but a mock up might be a safe way to start :) .

rember, i hosted it a while ago, it worked for a bit, but then my ISP didn't do the P part. i think its still set up on my router :)

EDIT:

alright, ive been working on a kerbin-to-duna all the way thingy.

can i use multiple launches? it can cram both parts into one rocket, but it'd be harder :)

I'll be there :D

The last few ports have been fairly easy, I'd be able to get something running within an hour or two after the release of 1.0. I just have to be careful of any krakens that pop up (I still haven't addressed some of the 0.90 additions :()
