First of all, I extend my hearty thanks to Yukon009 for creating such a wonderful replica of my trophy (and then scrapping it for something that was perhaps even better)! Thanks, Yukon! I'll send a small chunk of Reputation your way...

The reason I originally created the trophy so small was to showcase an actual Oscar-B tank as the top of it. Sorry if some, such as Majorjim, found it a little underwhelming :) Oh, and Yukon, if there aren't any Oscar-B's on your big ol' trophy, it might be nice to add one...

And now, a brief moment of remembrance for Logan...

R.I.P Upsilon Aerospace's Computer. It will be greatly missed.

Please accept my sincere regrets for Logan's untimely passing. :( What are going to name your next machine? BTW Yukon's trophy replica looks pretty good to me, I'll use that unless you've got any objections?

I'll interrupt the remembrance here (sorry, Logan) to state that my next machine will likely be named William, after William "Bill" Kerman. It's funny to note that the original three astronauts' full names may actually be William, Robert, and Jebediah...

As for the trophy, feel free to use Yukon's, no objections here!

Okay, back to remembering Logan...

My computer is named Vall.

- I was first naming it after the planet and not the kerbal xD. But I guess it works both ways. She will remember Logan forever... He never gave up! He stood for what is right all up until the end! Today marks the passing of a being. A friend. A brother. RIPIECES

Actually, I have a fairly good concession speech planned:

Logan was born at some time during the year 2012. He lived a happy, fruitful and productive life. The images, videos and posts he created touched the lives of thousands on this Forum and around the world. He will not be forgotten.

Oh, and katateochi, I wouldn't be surprised if you had a trophy soon :) Your videos are excellent.

Sort of wondering if runners up can be given the old defunct trophy so they can put it up on the VAB as something to remember the event by :3

Or slap some wings and rapiers on it and see if it will SSTO :cool:

What if this was a yearly thing? like, if the winners were announced this year, we would do another thread and have more people nominate more people for next year!

It could be like the actual "oscars" irl! :P

Just an idea, I might do it myself if you don't. :)

Channel awards would need to be restricted to what the YT'er did that year like real Oscars. Otherwise, the litmus test for the mental exercise of whether this would work or not can be found in answering "could someone win a category yet again even if they didn't release a single new video." I can think of a category and winner who people would pick anyway, which seems wrong. So that serves as my proof that you'd want to limit this to only videos released in the calendar year of the awards.

I've been wanting to say this for some time, in the interest of fairness to newer/active channels and also to promote lesser known channels featuring KSP, of which there are quite a large number.

In the current Oscar-B, the Up and Coming sections were definitely welcome!

Yeah I totally agree.

I was also wondering, what about some sort of awards for mods or mod-developers? Could get a bit controversial maybe, but what do you think?

This is possible, but whoever is going to organize it is going to need a "team" so to speak, a few people with a lot of spare time willing to review and assess the YT'ers, I personally am free most of the time, will be going on a campout next week, but this will be happening next YEAR if we actually do this. (so plenty of time to organize this)

If Upsilon, me (if he lets me help), and whoever is helping would get together, we can absolutely do this, it's just going to be a hastle.

Agreed there. This would be an amazing yearly event. I'd love to see some more winners. :) There are many deserving channels.

For example, me? My guess is that the judges didn't like me AT ALL. But yeah, there MIGHT be a yearly Oscar-B, not sure who will host it, though
