@SpaceTiger I am getting a whole mess of errors when using Physical Time Ratio Viewer.  I also can't activate or deactivate it.  The button exists in the KerboKatz toolbar, but it does nothing except spam the debug console with errors when clicked.

Log file: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/62531235/output_log - Cetera 2016-10-22.txt

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance, or if you need me to provide any more information.

Happy Saturday!

How did you download Physical Time Ratio Viewer ? Try updating the KerboKatzUtilities. As well as reproducing this error in a clean install with just Physical Time Ratio Viewer and KerboKatzUtilities. From what i have seen there are a lot of exceptions being thrown.

I downloaded it from your Github page (https://kerbokatz.github.io/#SmallUtilities-PhysicalTimeRatioViewer).

I'll try it on a clean install, and see what happens.

@SpaceTiger, here are the logs on a clean install, experiencing the same issue.  The only things that are installed on KerboKatz mods.

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/62531235/output_log - Cetera clean.txt

Hmmm... after looking at the log, it seems I still have TextureReplacer in there too.  Nothing else, though.  Let me know if you need me to strip it out as well.

You are still using an old version(1.4.0) of the KerboKatzUtilities. Try upgrading it to the newest(1.4.5) version.

I downloaded it from your Github page at the same time as the others.  It looks like it is the 1.4.5 version, but I'll redownload and try again, and let you know.

So, I think I figured this out.  The download for the PhysicalTimeRatioViewer contains the KerboKatzUtilities.dll file.  If I just copy and paste the whole thing from one GameData folder to the other, the PhysicalTimeRatioViewer overwrites the updated .dll file, and causes things to break.

If I then reinstall the 1.4.5 version of KerboKatzUtilities, it corrects the issue.

Maybe don't bundle the Utilities file with the .dll?  Or perhaps the PhysicalTimeRatioViewer package contains the wrong .dll file?  Not sure, but I think that's where the issue stemmed from.

Thanks for your help, and for the great mods.  I certainly appreciate both.

Figured something along those lines happened. The KerboKatzUtilities bundled is the newest version at release time. Sometimes only the KerboKatzUtilities require an update for things to work.

They are bundled like that cause one can forget the KerboKatzUtilities and wonder why it doesn't work at all, its a drop and done kinda installation. Usually it's a good idea to download the latest version of the KerboKatzUtilities and install it as the last step.

Hi @SpaceTiger!

I’m experiencing a strange bug with FPS Limiter. When FPS Limiter is on and I deactivate the KSP window and activate it again, fairings disappear. Both in editor and in flight.

Strange bug indeed. I figured out whats going wrong but am unable to fix it. The stock fairings don't like it when the vSycn option changes. I'll release a new patch that should prevent this from happening unless the "Enable VSync" option is on.

Right-clicking on the icon in the toolbar will allow you to enable/disable the filters.

Is there an option to disable the  KerboKatz toolbar?  There seems to be some interference with The Janitor's Closet toolbar code, it would be nice to be able to just disable this functionality

There is a way but only one of our mods actively allow it to be changed. If you look at IToolbar you will see that it has "useKKToolbar", set it to false and the mod will use the normal toolbar.

You have to call "ToolbarBase.SetDirty();" as well for the changes to take effect.

Is it available from an outside mod?

ok.  Right now I've implemented a blacklist to exclude your toolbar icon, I'll see if I can add this.  The end result will be that if The Janitor's Closet is installed, your toolbar won't be shown.  I'll probably make that optional.

The whole idea behind the toolbar was to not use too much space with all our mods so I do agree that it should be optional and not on by default.

Edit: To clarify I mean that by default the KerboKatz toolbar should be used and the user can decide not to use it.

Ok.  So, if JC is installed, the default will be to disable the Kerbokatz menu and let the user deal with JC.

Hmmm, I wonder if I can grab the Kerbokatz icon and use that for all of your buttons.  Would be interesting

yes, but the useKKToolbar is a get only, not a set.  Following from the IToolbar.cs:

 bool useKKToolbar { get; }

and, in about 7 other files, the function is implemented, and always returns true.

So maybe this is something I don't understand.  Is it possible for my mod to override this, and if so, how?

Thanks

On launching game I opened the PhysicalTimeRatioViewer and left it then.

Two minutes later the game crashed.

In the log I found this:

The AssetBundle 'E:\Spiele\Kerbal Space Program\GameData\KerboKatz\SmallUtilities\PhysicalTimeRatioViewer\physicaltimeratioviewer.KerboKatzAsset' can't be loaded because another AssetBundle with the same files is already loaded.

(Filename: Line: 425)

And then the log got spammed with this:

BUG: getting ullage from RealFuels casted to null, ullage status likely broken

(Filename: C:/buildslave/unity/build/artifacts/generated/common/runtime/UnityEngineDebugBindings.gen.cpp Line: 42)
