The best part about this... I have guaranteed that within moments of launch, everyone will be using the new resource parts, and trying to plunk a drill into anything that can't scurry away fast enough.

Yeah. I'm 100% sure that someone will try to drill kerbals in the first hour after game release :P

Something large that is hard to find and relates to the ISRU aspect... A large untracked comet on a highly eliptical orbit around kerbol (possibly highly inclined with a long orbital period), could even be easter egg shaped. It could be packed with resources (wouldn't break game balancing if it was highly inclined/eliptical) I imagine it would have a large tail (eeloo gysers) so it wouldn't be impossible to find but you would still have to spend a long time in a kerbol orbit to happen across it. I imagine that would take two months to find... Challenge?

Pff. Two months. I give it two days at most.

That being said remember how long it took people to find the Easter egg you hid in the launch clamp? Though I wonder if Harv counted on the community being very active in our efforts to find the Easter egg.

My bet is that it is something in the game files, either in a texture for the new parts or something else that modders will find.

im totaly gunna see if i can mine resources from various KSC buildings when the update comes out :P

then im going to try it on various easter eggs and such.

and then try to mine fuel from kerbals

True, same deal as the Happifas Trench under the ocean south of KSC, which you need some sort of mapping system to find. Maybe looking at the resource map of the sun reveals a gigantic, thousand km long curse word :P
