Thank modders!

Now that 1.0 is almost upon us and we have thanked SQUAD profusely, I also want to take a moment to thank the modders. Let's all give them a good word, money, or reputation!

The mods I have personally enjoyed are:

I have to add these:

- VOID (it's the underappreciated underdog of info-display. It's HUDs are more info-y and compact than KER's. It's not as good in the VAB, but better in space :P )

- Alternate Resource Panel - Because the stock panel is TERRIBLE.

- Better than Starting Manned - Because the stock progression is TERRIBLE.

- Kerbal Attachment System - Because the stock orbital EVA construction system is nonexistent.

- Goodspeed Fuel Pump - cuz persistent fuel transfer is the bomb. Hopefully not literally though. (there is a user-compiled version for 0.90. Hooray for GPL!)

- RealFuels - is neat and interesting (despite some UI issues)

- Transfer Window Planner - because the stock transfer planner doesn't exist

- PreciseNode - because the stock maneuver node gadget bites

- NavHud - Puts the navball icons into space!

- FAR - carried us till 1.0, at the very least. Hopefully not needed anymore, but you never know.

Plus some part mods:

- KW rocketry (very slick)

- Bac9's stuff (also very slick although requires 10% more memory than your computer has, even if you upgrade the memory~)

- RLA stockalike (hooray for lots of RCS bits)

- Ven's Stock Revamp

Plus many more!

Of course there's Kerbal Engineer Redux; but

Who made Quantum Fuel Transfer System? That was one of the mods I tore apart several times getting it to work again.

I think there's many mods that built upon each other, what we learn from one mod, we use in another. The unsung heroes if you will. So cheers to whomever made QFTS. I wish I knew your name.

I couldn't play without Kerbal Engineer, that's for sure! Also Alarm Clock and Transfer Window Planner make things so much nicer.

Then there's all the parts mods I use. Standouts are Procedural Parts, Procedural Wings, Procedural Fairings, SpaceY, LazTeks SpaceX packs and any others that add big engines!

Yes I noticed that as well. Myself I generally stick to one or two mods at a time because of how much they slow loading down and how much they clutter my inventory.

As they haven't had special mention yet, I'd like to add special thanks to InfernalRobotics (and previously DammedRobotics) and to Kethane. Also to KWRocketry, KAS, NovaP, RemoteTech, SCANsat and of-course MechJeb! There are many others too, but I've used those ones for a long time and had MANY hours of fun out of them. Seriously great work guys!! :)

Just leaving a note that I've moved this over to General Add-On Affairs, where the modders themselves might be just a smidgen more likely to see your words of appreciation :)

I'd also like to take the time to thank our mod-makers as a whole for their contributions (in part because I've used enough different mods in the time I've played the game that I'm sure I'd leave someone out if I tried to list them all). I'm awed by the hard work and dedication that you lot have been putting into the game, especially considering that in almost every case it's purely a labor of love. Rock on, y'all!
