Yeah, dem Mexicans need gets der OWN timezones, fars aways from we border.

Technically they do have their own timezone. It's just that American Central Time and Mexico City Time happen to both be UTC -6... now Canada on the other hand... ;)

I just checked steamdb and it looks like something has pushed them back to scratchpad. I think it safe to assume that "monday" will mean something other than 1am monday morning. I'd place my bets on the other end of that spectrum.

Epic, but I would be very angry if 3 quarters of the world gets it before me...

This is actually a thing for many many steam games - I ended up getting Beyond Earth 12 hours before the US could get it. Of course, I also had to pay about 50% more, because US steam prices are significantly cheaper than Aussie steam prices.

It would make sense for them to release it during their work hours on Monday, not in the middle of the night, so they can be available to address any immediate problems.

I don't know about Squad, but my job description includes "Nights and weekends, as projects may require".

I'm going to lol if it comes out at 11:59 pm Mexico City Time.

They won't do a night release. If you are going to do something big, something that might crash servers, you want to do it in the morning while you still have lots of 9-to-5 time left before the end of the day. That's also the time when more of your customers are at work/school. Anything past say 2pm will probably mean a push until the next day.

Keep eyes all over the internets. Delay announcements have in the past have appeared in very strange places.

The project doesn't require it. They said Monday, they didn't say what time or time zone. People just need to be patient.

That may not be a norm in Mexico. I'm predicting a release at 9:00AM central time.
