1.0 down load

I'm having trouble updating to 1.0. I tried to do it with the patcher but it just sticks and locks up. Am I going about this the wrong way?

the patcher should work, but there are other ways which will also work if the patcher doesn't. If you can't get the patcher/launcher to work, download the 1.0 files from the KSP store (same place you got KSP from) and pick the file that isn't the installer. It is a zip file containing the 1.0 executable and game data. Unzip it, and replace your 0.90 stuff with the 1.0 stuff.

No joy with the patcher but down loading the file directly worked.
