  1. 1. What should I do next?

    • More tube sizes!
    • Damage system!
    • Refurbish all config files and models!
    • Nothing; just keep fixing bugs, this mod is feature complete now!

VERSION 1.4 IS FINALLY RELEASED!

Finally, through sweat and tears, I bring you the glass dome.

Fixed a few dozen game-crashing bugs, apparently config files are touchy.

Removed Readmepls file. No need for it now. Enjoy!

Hi, I noticed the Glass Panes and Enclosures do not turn up in the tech tree of my 1.0.4 Career, and with some notepad sleuthing I have come up with the fix!

They need the following added to the cfgs and they shall magically appear in the research lab:

TechRequired = composites
entryCost = 4800

When looking over the stats I noticed some of the items have absurdly high collision resistance and temperature limits. The SuperLarge panel can resist 6 thousand degrees Celcius! Is this intended, or should I bump everything down to normal Structural Panel resilence for the sake of balance?

If you're interested I can shoot you an email with all the rebalanced stats/costs plus tech tree assignment, or post a dropbox link here.

Hi!

I am working on re-balancing in the 1.5 update, as-well as tech-tree integration. Spudman is right, glass shouldn't be heavy but should have low crash tolerance. The bigger the piece, the lower the tolerance, and vise versa. As of the melting point, it is high on purpose. You can tweak it down if you want to, but the original mod will stay the same. Because there is more surface to heat, the bigger the panel, the higher the melting point. Currently the temperature is in Kelvin if I'm not mistaken, so it's not as absurd when you think about it. lol.

Update 1.5 is released!

All parts have been rebalanced.

Glass tube now has fuel crossfeed capabilities.

TechTree integration.

Enjoy!

That seems interesting.

I'll take a look. A transparent texture will only work in .png format. The texture is applied unto the model in Unity before exporting. I don't think I'll be able to do much with procedural to be honest.

UPDATE 1.6 IS RELEASED!

Changed the glass tube model, completely. In the next update, more of these tubes will be added. All of them will be 4m long, but different in diameter.

Changed flags. Now much more realistic than before, and generally look so much better.

Enjoy! :D

OH SNAP!

Thanks for showing me that, I completely overlooked it lol

I'll fix that ASAP.

As for the model of the dome itself, yes I know, it's a bit crooked, but it fits together nicely nonetheless :D

If it bothers you too much let me know in this thread and I'll quickly replace it.

Thanks for downloading :)
