What next?

  1. 1. What should I do next?

    • More tube sizes!
    • Damage system!
    • Refurbish all config files and models!
    • Nothing; just keep fixing bugs, this mod is feature complete now!

If anyone is wondering, this mod will be supported and will be made compatible with 1.1 as soon as it is publicly released. I see no point in updating anything as of right now.

It was publicly released yesterday

Could you make them tweakscale compatible? I love to work with them but I hate the size restrictions :P

Will do soon. Thanks for your suggestion, your suggestion might turn this entire mod around. How did I not think of this? :D

@2001kraft Just tried your Glass Planes and Enclosures in 1.1.3 and it does work. A few things I saw:

1) Both triangle panes seem to have some glitchyness (z fighting?) going on that the other panes don't. (as mentioned above?)

2) Both triangle panes want to surface attach to the opposite side of a surface - I changed the node to "node_attach = 0, 0, 0.497, 0, 0, -1, 0" and it seemed to work properly. (1 changed to -1 both triangle panes)

3) The glass tube wants to surface attach 1 meter above the surface

Playing with your tweakscale cfg - Please double check this - I know just enough about MM patching to be dangerous. I changed the name of your large glass panel to GlassPlateCompositeLarge and used this MM patch:

@PART[GlassPlate*]:NEEDS[TweakScale]
{
  MODULE
  {
    name = TweakScale
    type = free
  }
}

and was able to scale it in game. (I tried @PART[Composite Glass Panel Large] and got a MM error - I don't think it likes spaces in a name)

Thanks for sharing your mod with us!

Thanks a lot for your help. I'll look into your work today or tomorrow and let you know if it works.

Love the look.

Does this work with Kerbal Inventory System?  Folded up and put up with an engineer would do it.  Otherwise how would you get that dome to Duna?.

Added to a live support mod that produced oxygen, food and the like would be awesome.

Hi, very curious as to what this actually looks like, I've  been through the thread and cannot find one example image of the mod or somebody using it,  any chance of some images ? Some of those who profess to love it must have one or two surely??

As with most imgur embeds, the one in the OP is broken, but it's the second to last link at the bottom

I am not sure if it works with KIS. It would be interesting to see that though.

Considering the fact that my dome is not the best model and that I might be replacing it at some point in the not so distant future, you might want to consider docking the dome together with the panels that I provide. Given that that it is now compatible with TweakScale, that shouldn't be too hard.

Oops, looks like the Imgur bork'd. I'll try to fix it tomorrow (no internet today, using data from phone :( ).

Ooh... More domes....

But gee more tubes would be nice...

Ooooooh! A damage system would be so cool too!

Can I, like, vote for all of those?

No?

**** it! Aw Jebediah!

Ummm...

Gee, that's a tough decision...

Hi.

I just tried fixing the album (and making it show up properly), but unfortunately, an imgur update borked the forum integration.

The screenshots are under "Screenshots:" in the OP. Click on the text that says "Imgur" and it'll take you to the screenshots.
