You do realize that (a * B) * c = a * b * c right?

So having a 2 in there just means multiply the total points by 2 which doesn't really seem to do anything.

He's just showing how he arrived at his total using the scoring system. The 2 represents the multiplier he was originally claiming for LKO, and the 6 is of course shown for establishing Kerbol orbit. So, actually, it does seem to do something - it gets a point across in a very simple and straightforward way.

Serassa, let me know if you ever need me to explain things out for you, I don't mind. I know for some people, these alternate ways of expressing the same numerical value with the intent of showing how it was arrived at can be the cause of enough concern to make them post critically about it with a condescending tone.

Regarldess, you've been trolling all over these forums. What's your deal man? You've made some criticims that have already been refuted, so your credibility is already shot. Does this attention please you? If that's all it's about, then I'm not surprised.

What criticisms have been refuted? I don't recall any.

Besides, if I wanted attention I wouldn't be posting in a dead challenge like this one. I'd go for..... Jool 5? K prize? the good ones?

*cough* everything you've posted *cough*

simply by disagreeing with me does not refute my criticisms. Presenting convincing counter arguments and valid evidences do. I don't recall any of the latter.

You did, disagree with me though. I'll give you that.

You claimed in Fengist's circumnavigation challenge that I obviously had re-entry heat disabled and that there was no way I could have achieved said performance with one of my submissions (which I actually took in stride at the time before I realized you were a troll) and then I very promptly provided a craft file and it was established by at least two others that my entry was certainly capable of what I claimed. I'm not the only one here who thinks you're trolling. I'm asking you to please stop. It's honestly not really worth my time and energy so this is probably the last I'll have to say anything about it (hopefully). There's plenty of videos on YouTube, it's popular to make troll comments there. Why don't you go there instead if you insist? (And for the love of physical well being, make sure you're anonymous) I mean, I know you get good exposure here and it's fresh meat but there's a whole world out there.

Ok, one point for you, hey I'm human I make mistakes. Anything else?

I contradicted and denied several of your accusations/questions regarding my challenge thread

What accusations? I only asked questions I didn't make any accusations. And why would you deny my questions? It says in the forum rules that if you have a question you should ask them, I asked like I should. Why would you be rude and deny them? however that might work.

Then again, just going like, Nope I deny it. Is rather pointless because I can just go Nope I deny your denile, and you're like, I deny your denile of my denile, and I'll be like I deny your denile of my denile of your denile/ See the problem there? No logic no progression, no thought process.

You may not realise, but some things you said in there can be regarded as accusations. As for the questions... it is clearly outlined in the OP of what must be done, and TBPH IMO if you were actually confused and couldn't figure it out yourself... well, I'll just say you shouldn't be doing the challenge, as a polite way of saying it.

Now for something that is ON TOPIC!

Does the orbiting multiplier also apply to any landings that we do with the banana rocket?

EDIT : Note to self, Must make an entry to not derail the thread. I'll post something later when I get some time.

Oh, c'mon guys. This is a challenge about flying a banana into space. Flying. A Banana. Into Space.

Is it supposed to be serious? No. This is one of the least serious challenges I've ever seen. I don't understand, then, why there would be flamewars about this fun little thing, regarding a minor aspect of the scoring system.

To be honest, I'll participate in this challenge even though I don't want to bother going interplanetary... because it's a fun idea. Whichever way the points are spilt (hee hee, banana splits), I don't care. I'm content to merely fly my grand ol' banana through the cosmos.

I'll probably use monoprop tanks for the banana, because of their nice yellow color... and, of course, in my pictures, I'll edit in a banana for scale. :D

Apologies to you and everyone. Moderators/admin, feel free to remove any of my posted content in the little spat we had. I'm going to try to make it a point not to get involved in such a manner again. In retrospect, I shouldn't have pursued anyone regardless of whether I thought they were trolling or not. And Serassa, let me just say "truce" brotha. Even though some of us may have perceived you as trolling, maybe we can turn it around and try our best to just view your posts as an alternate point of view. I look forward to any of your future entries and I'm sure you've got some creative stuff to share as well.

That being said, banana on! Apologies for any thread derailment, MrWalrus.
