Updated the OP with the version and construction information. The X-Wing isn\'t such a bad plane, but the Tie fighter is a pig to fly. That said, it is noted somewhere in Star Wars lore, that the X-wings have the edge in atmosphere combat.

Didn\'t see this topic when I posted my x-wing. I like the Tie fighter, looks awesome!

My x-wing flies, and is moderately controllable. I even managed to land it!

That is amazing! I feel bad for not putting much effort into mine now :(, would probably work better as an S-Wing if I pull the top two wings off. Do you mind if I add the craft to the OP; compiling a list of Star Wars craft? I am going to try and make some more of the Tie Fighter models later today.

Took a while but, here is my attempt at a TIE interceptor, doesn\'t fly too badly considering its shape. To take off, reach 80m/s and pull back.

I was surprised by how well the Interceptor flies. Currently working on a TIE bomber, it flies, but it needs some more work to balance it out. Though I suspect it will be never be something you will want to take you kids to school in.

Does it have to be original saga craft only or can I post the Naboo fighter from the dreaded new saga? I have two versions one with a rudder and elevators and the flip happy no tail one.

The flyable one:

The Flip happy one:

EDIT: Updated Craft to look more like the N-1 Starfighter it\'s based off of.

It\'s very flyable, but requires very fine controls, especially in low atmosphere, as it tends to pitch upwards and roll to one side. Trim is very useful, as is the onboard RCS.

However, it makes a decent high-atmo glider.

How about a Y-Wing to add to the collection :)

Y-Wings are supposed to be slow and clunky, this is slow but is twitchy to fly, use SAS to take off and then when you have some height you can trim it to fly pretty well, I didn\'t need SAS in the screenshot or for landing.

The wings overlap a lot so it\'ll drift to a random side, and it might handle a lot better on a more powerful PC, I got a lot of slowdown with it.

I\'ll try improving the flight characteristics another time, have fun :)

:D Nice Y-Wing, added it to the OP. I am hoping someone will try a B-Wing, otherwise I am going to have to go through the pain.

Completed my TIE bomber, requires ASAS to take off, full throttle, needs gentle corrections on the runway to keep it in the centre, pull back at 155 m/s. Flying this without ASAS, can only be done by Darth Vader.
