What is the most glorious / favorite craft that you ever flew ?

Title says it, which one of your rockets will always keep a place in your heart ? Which one are you the proudest of ? Which one took you everywhere ? Which one was simply the best that you ever made, to your eyes ?

Whatever it is, a 5000 ton lifter, a simple probe or even a plane; it doesn't have to be over-engineered, it can come from the depth of alpha KSP or from the brand new 1.0.x; just share your favorite rocket or plane (or rover, base...) and why you love it.

(I apologise if there's already a similar thread somewhere in the forums)

I'll start with mine: BlackDog VI

It is a medium interplanetary rocket coming straight out of 1.0.2 and it has already taken me everywhere, from Moho to Eeloo (and back). It sits 2 Kerbonauts, weighs 735 tons on the launchpad, is completely stock and costs only 276k kredits (I'm quite proud of this: twice cheaper than the previous ones), so it's not the biggest rocket ever, but is enough to plant a flag pretty much everywhere with no atmosphere (except for Tylo).

Its name comes from the Led Zeppelin song "Black Dog", and most of my other rockets are named after rock or metal songs.

So far, it took me to Vall, Moho, Dres, Gilly, Ike and Eeloo and one is on its way to Bop and Pol.

I really like this rocket more than any other for mainly three reasons:

1- I think it looks really good, it could exist in the real world and take off from Earth.

2- My previous class of interplanetary rockets was a pain in the a** (not exagerating here) to fly: heavy, took ages to turn around and (really) liked exploding. On the other side, this one is extremely easy to fly around (though it may be because of 1.0 aerodynamics) and will not explode unless you crash in on the ground.

3- It is simple: a booster stage, 2 stages and the payload; no fancy clipping, 1 engine per stage / booster and that's it.

It is not my first rocket, not my last, not the most advanced, not the biggest but my favorite by far.

My most glorious craft, thus far, was the Jool Explorer - the crowning achievement of the first "Career Mode" (now Science Mode). I started KSP on my first ever YouTube Channel called "Korbital Mechanics" and this was the epic two-hour finale to the 0.22 season. The Jool Explorer was my biggest ship, thus far, and was assembled in orbit from three separate launches.

Here's the old video (still hosted on my old channel)

The Arthur C. Kerman, my Jool exploration craft. Besides it wasnt able to complete the mission, it was the most fun ship to design, orbital construction took more than 20 launches and the mission itself was full of those unforgetable ksp moments. Mission report and lots of pictures in my signature.

Behold the interplanetary exploration flagship Voyager I and its compact three-seater shuttlecraft.

The front half of the central fuselage opens to reveal the shuttle bay and science lab; the rear half is a general cargo bay which is usually used to transport small satellites. It's been to Mun, Minmus, Eve, Gilly, Moho, Duna, and Ike, with shuttlecraft landings on all of these except Eve (and it brought along seven tiny drop probes to send down to Eve's surface). I would have taken it to Jool next but decided to abandon the save file and start a new one when 1.0 came out--0.90 was freezing up way too often.

Shoot... Wish I could post a screen shot right now.

Toss-up between my interplanetary transport and 10-ton lander, both from 0.90.

Didn't exactly fly it, but I've been rather proud of how this rover looks

Awesome.

Probably this KSPI shuttle that flew only on antimatter and could get you anywhere within a day or two. It doesn't look like much but it has enough fuel to last it a career, landing pod with over 9000dv which can be switched for cargo, shute+airbag emergency system and flies well in FAR. I've stopped using KSPI with the demise of KSPx64 but this was my ultimate end game craft.

I don't have glamour screenshots of many of my craft, but I do have some VAB images of one of my better builds... the unmanned "Duna Discovery" in my .25 modded career save. The explanation in the linked post is probably necessary to understand what you're looking at :P

The IKS Kerbinia, from one of my earliest saves (sadly, now lost). A light cruiser designed before I had any desire to put Kerbals on the surface of any planet, the Kerbinia could carry her crew and up to four probes just about anywhere (She went to Duna, Eve, and four of Jool's moons before being retired), before returning to LKO and docking with a fuel station. Crew would be recovered on the same capsule that took them to orbit, which would be waiting at the station. Unfortunately the Kerbinia itself was not recoverable. Perhaps not very glorious, but definitely my favorite.
