McDonnell Douglas F4 Phantom II with stock missiles and bombs

Recommended Posts

Something i have been trying to get right for a while which i am extremely proud to present, the

McDonnell Douglas F4 Phantom II

zjngVLU.jpg

(Earlier cockpit design in video)

Description:

This F4 Phantom is capable of supersonic speeds (up to and over 1000m/s) as well as having 4 working stock missiles which are controllable if you want to switch to them for a guided attack and 54 bombs in its bomb bay which fire 6 at a time, the plane is also flyable without using SAS control, what more could you ask for when trying to blow something up?

(Disclaimer: bombs may only scratch buildings, warranty void if launched)

Flight instructions

On launch hit the SAS, throttle up to 100% and let it take off by itself, once in the air have fun! :D

Action groups:

1: Toggle engines

2: Toggle "after burners"

3: Toggle bay doors

Space bar order:

Missiles fire first one at a time followed by bombs 6 at a time.

Based on the screenshots.. It doesn't look bad at all. The only thing bugging me is the cockpit. Since the aircraft is a bit too big, you probably won't be able to get a decently sized cockpit to fit in.

Yeah the cockpits could be better but i didnt want to build them from scratch, would have made the plane over 350 parts if i did as far as it being bigger,

it is only slightly bigger, had to be for the cargo bay, original plane is 19 meters long x 12 meters wide x 4.8 meters high mine is 20 meters long x 14 meters wide x 4.6 meters high, so fairly close all things considered

all you had to do was turn the back cockpit around and clip in in slightly

ehh im happy enough with it, if anyone is too unhappy they can do it themselves lol not a big job, takes more for me to change the download link

Edit: ehh i did it i may as well be less lazy and change the link cheers for the idea man
