Aerobraking is very dangerous.

However the main danger is not burning up in the atmosphere, the real danger is that the game crashes.

This interplanetary shuttle enter the atmosphere at 3.5 km/s, i might loose some ladders else everything is nice, however the game run out of memory and crashes every time even if I restart the game and just do the aerobrake.

Luckily save and reload in atmosphere works, this also saves the ladders :)

Try turning off the temperature gauges with f10 if you already haven't. They have a horrible memory leak associated with them.

Ok F10, did not know, I like them as they warn about parts getting overheated like the ladders (another stupid issue, an retracted ladder should be flush and not cause heating.)

Thanks will look at the critical temperature gauge, sounds perfect as I want to know if stuff is in danger because of heating.

has other lost static solar panels on LV-N tugs? They are very sensible and might blow up as heat spreads even after burn i complete
