It looks like that part is only debris bits at the moment anyway, so I\'ve deleted the debris items that had it.

Ah! Sorry \'bout that! I had that left over from an older install and forgot which RCS thruster was the vanilla one! Glad you like the outhouse, the landing rockets were quite nerve-wracking to design, I lost many test craft when the separation didn\'t go as planned (landing rockets smashing into the outhouse, other craft, etc).

The Pizza Delivery Mk2 crash landed... with some damages to the bases.

Here is the lander:

Everything was fine up to this point, until I detached it. Since it was using mechjeb, the gimbals flailed around in a crazy manner correcting itself several times a second.

I was slightly above the ground, and I detached the rockets above. I was somehow sling-shotted away from the base sliding on the ice very slowly (but a long distance it was on Minmus.)

When i thought it was over, the fuel tank with the two engines on the sides lightly hit the ground into/under dogon\'s lander, but only destroyed one or two solar panels. However, the fuel tank exploded and the engines zoomed in two directions - one of them almost completely destroying on of the truck landers, and the other taking out one arm of the 'Titanic' station.

Here was my last picture - the capsule surviving by luck because the lander leg hit the ground first.

I can\'t get great shots since the sun is no where to be seen at the moment and that I don\'t know if we allowed to timewarp excessively after landing.

The crew members of all of the bases did enjoy their pizza, though!

Do you want to go back to the previous save and try again? You still have a lot of time to try for a less violent arrival. Or we can go with this.

Everyone, there\'s a novapunch 1.2 Beta now, and we should switch to using it instead of alpha. If you already have your community mod folder built, you can delete all parts whose folders start with 'NP' and then install the newer one. It\'s supposed to improve performance by making use of simpler textures.

I don\'t believe it would be my call, but I think it adds spice and life to the area to see some carnage. It\'s not that bad.

I\'ll let the victims decide, although i don\'t think whatever was damaged was intended for real use again. What do you think?

Sorry for the delay.

I loaded that up, turned my rover to face towards the main base and turned on its lights, then switched to your pod and zoomed & angled to have the other craft in the foreground:

Your pod is off far in the distance ahead, and my rover is off to the left - but otherwise that\'s a complete photo of the base. Candre\'s HTV is still alive but not going anywhere, and the Titanic has indeed lost a whole wing so probably couldn\'t move without being too imbalanced. The Lake of Broken Landers now lives up to its name. We all knew it would happen someday!

Cooly, you apparently used a mod that\'s not already in, in addition to your spaceport parts I see some 1m to 2m decoupler part from Down Under. It was only on a Debris part, so I deleted it and it didn\'t affect your main lander.

SUCCESS!!!!!!

First, we took an uneventful flight to the moon, approaching, we nearly overshot, stabilized in a 150 km orbit. Separation form the Space Station, then descended to the planet\'s surface. We landed with loads of fuel to spare ( and so have a resupply base and a fixed structure finally), then jumped off and landed the birtrak next to Zekes 1 debris rover. All in all, a space station and two landers its pretty good!

I want to request another mission to Aluminum Oxide for my big lander! No new mod this time!

Do I need to wait until I have already had my upcoming turn before requesting a new place?

If no, then I\'d like to have a \'positioning beacon\' for Aspiration Base so it has a fixed place. Otherwise its a spaceplane and... I don\'t know what the other sheduled flight is.

You have to fly one before booking another, RedDwarf.

Congratulations, zekes! You even managed to do it without detonating half the other ships people worked hard to land there, unlike some people =P

The Kerbal technicians are working frantic to prepare for the upcoming launch. The launch vehicle has been moved to the launch platform and the countdown has commenced. The Kerbonauts are on board of their capsule for the final systems check.

They are quite anxious to get underway.

An unconfirmed rumor states that one of them had a brief (unforseen) comment during a conversation with ground control. The comment was 'M A M M Y Y Y Y Y !!!'.

We\'ll report further details as they unfold.

A spokesman for the KSA has denied the above rumor. None of the Kerbonauts has cried 'M A M M Y Y Y Y Y !!!'.

(A usually well informed source within the KSA has said it was 'M O M M Y Y Y Y Y !!!' )

This afternoon the countdown was stopped for several hours due to a malfunction in the capsule. A senior official commented: 'This time the sh.t really has hit the fan! Careers will be broken because of this. Fortunately the mission doesn\'t have to be scrubbed, only the capsule'. The malfunction in the sewage system was caused by the reverse fitting of a draining pipe.

Countdown has now resumed.

This notice is being given so that the decision for Aspiration Base scheduled flights to be changed, scrubbed, or continue can be made well in advance.

Aspiration Base\'s location has been confirmed as the Silisko Crater Dais, where it will conduct research on the Equatorial Munolith.

Essentially, this means that if you wish to locate the Munolith yourself, you may not want to fly to Aspiration Base. This will also require spoilered maps detailing exactly where the Silisko Crater Dais is.

You have been warned.

Has the terrain of Thrionian Cloria I Base been assigned a name yet? If it hasn\'t then i would suggest 'The Kermuna triangle' because some funny things are going on there!

It took me several attempts. On the first two attempts the ship landed beautifully but on touching the munar surface it suddenly began to roll uncontrolably, resulting in a toppeled over lander. On the third attempt i replaced the folding solar panels with the smaller solar panels and i changed the landinglegs.

The voyage wasn\'t very fortunate. After the munar injection burn, the ship was on a direct collision course with the mun. It took quite a lot of fuel to get into orbit, which was almost polar. It cost a large amount of fuel to get to orbit over the base.

The ship landed safely without damage but with tanks almost dry. The ship can return to earth (after the inflatable habitat is jettisoned), provided the tank is filled again by a resupply ship. For the time being an inflatable habitat has been added to the base (for those who are unable to room in the space hotel).

Wow - that tall and narrow, I expect it will topple eventually from the jolt everything seems to suffer when another craft comes within 200 meters - but good landing!

Was that using your sfs analyzer to produce a limited part set bundle still, or have you done something else?
