I want to save my battery so i downloaded that app

From time to time i kill all process on my mobile, but other apps restarting some time after i shout it down :-(

It just tilting at windmills, does is possible to make sure that apps that i shout down stay that way?

The best way to save battery time is to stopping unneeded apps from running in the background.

This link explains how to do that: https://www.androidpit.com/how-to-stop-apps-running-in-the-background-on-android

Also don't forget to close applications after you use them or the phone.

If you really want an app then go for "Advanced Task Killer", but be sure to not have it run in the background.

I haven't felt the need for a task killer in Android for years. Like... 4 maybe. I think maybe Gingerbread? I'm pretty sure I had one in FroYo.

Task killers can actually hurt your battery, because Android is constantly restarting the apps that you're killing. Better to actually stop them from running. That page Albert linked to has lots of good info on it.

There is one battery app I swear by....

But it got deleted when I reset the phone to factory default. I couldn't answer the phone anymore before I had so many apps hogging my RAM ....

So, now, I don't use it. What REALLY kills your phone are those apps that demand access to things they don't need to...

Some of the apps I had demanded access to my camera, video and SMS messages.... and what it was was a silly compass so you knew where North was.

When installing apps, keep an eye on what they want access to... most of these are spyware type apps, and they hog your battery....

Kill those, and your battery will last a week between charges like mine does now. (a Galaxy GT-S5570)

In your settings, you should have an option to tell you about your phone and what has been using the power.

I keep 3G/4G network connection, mobile data and wifi turned off (if I don't need them). My cheapo Huawei sh*tbrick can stay awake for days with this method, with normal usage (some 10 mins of web browsing, 1-2 calls per day). Also, I always clean the RAM when I stop using the phone. I don't use task killers at all.

I leave wifi, 3g, 4g, bluetooth, and gps on full-time and my phone (Samsung Galaxy S5) has an idle battery life of a day or more (Never tested it, mostly because I can't leave it idle for much more than 8 hours and then only because I'm sleeping) and an in-use time of hours. And I'm talking hard use, like screen on the whole time playing a game that actively uses gps and 4g networks.
