Just wondering, has ANYONE ever gotten to minimus (with/without mods)?

It looks cool.

Love the airplanes (anyone care to tell me how to take off? or give me an airplane file?)!

Sure, we did get there. In fact it was my first flight after opening 0.15. Without mods of course.

Its easier than the mun once you know where to aim !

Minmus is much smaller and therefore it has much less gravity, so the fuel you put in getting that little bit further is made up for by the easy landing

Getting there wasn\'t too hard with the same method I get to the Mun. Fuel-wise it\'s not all that much different, and the inclination of Minmus\'s orbit is pretty much the only additional thing you have to take into account.

I got the first [heavy] spaceplane to Minmus. Its also under debate as to whether the first normal spaceplane to reach Minmus was valid for the achievement, since it may have been done in .15X testing.

Anyway, I landed on Minmus using my Mun lander.

Took a long time to land because of how low Minmus\'s gravity.

Looks kewl.

Really? For me it takes less time than the Mun since you don\'t have to slow down until about 70 m or so. Of course you need to know how much room you have left but that\'s why I always drop my orbital when I\'m descending to see how far it goes before it goes explodey.

Is the rocket you used for that available for download? I\'ve been starting to use true stock parts instead of tweaked ones that has made it a bit easier to play, and the craft you used looks perfect to use for practice.
