Roleplay KSP?

So... I was thinking of possibly roleplaying KSP in hard mode.

I thought I would impose a few rules on myself such as:

• Hard mode
  
• No Kerbals Can Die
  
• Use little or no data from outside the game
  

So this is what I'm thinking of doing:

• Creating a story
  
• Creating Mission Plans
  
• Creating Missions Reports
  

I have added a few mods so far which I believe enhance realism. These mods are:

• TAC - Life support
  
• KOS
  
• Remote Tech
  

I do not want to add any mods that add parts.

So, what is everyone's thoughts? What should I include in a roleplay of KSP?

This is kerbal roleplaying.

What you need is talking to your screen with your nose pinched, just like we certainly all do already.

That doesn't sounds too 'arrpee' to me. Accepting the loss of life and mourning the fallen is more immersive than reverting or loading a save when something goes wrong. That mentality can also set you the most interesting rescue missions too.

I'd also consider playing only from EVA. Or at least doing much of it. The important stuff is done on the map-screen anyways.

This is exactly what the story is in my signature. I play the game through, no F9, no restarting, and I fill it in with storyline including full interior sets. I have 2 saves, one is the game I play through, the other is just storyline.

I roleplay in Sandbox mode, but then again, I'm the kind of guy that will change my Skyrim player out of their armour and into more comfortable clothes whenever they're in town, even though there's very few gameplay reasons to do so.

Hmm, I wonder if being "Dragonborn" is Skyrim's equivalent of the BadS flag in KSP.

Kerbals are going to die, you will have to adjust to that quickly.

Some basic questions for RP..

What is our history and culture?

Who has the hots for Jeb? Who has the hots for Val? Do Kerbals get the "hots".

Why do we care about going to space? Why do we love science?

Is the cubic octagonal strut the true representation in theory and appliance of the hypercube, representing the reality of multi-dimensional spacetime in a three dimensional world?
