It's actually kind of sad they are more interested in supporting outside media sources that no one else seems to care about instead of files and players from their own game. I mean really, none of the threads of the week support the every day player. You have to be a modder, a youtuber, a twitch streamer, or an artist.

How about being a KSP player? Whether it's craft or awesome screenshots or whatever, there really should be something dedicated to the people that just play the game.

What if a suitably motivated poster co-opted the Twitch threads with a "sub-thread" devoted to that week's community output?

Might even boost the Twitch streams by-proxy.

Actually, that's not a bad idea. Instead of doing this antagonistically (which, of course, shouldn't be ruled out), maybe the mods could have the Twitch thread include a rotating community output section? A sort of half-and-half...

Maybe call it Twitch & Switch Thursday?

Or maybe it could be called Twitch & Glitch Thursday, where the week's most humorous unresolved bugs are highlighted?

Not that I wouldn´t support a Spacecraft Friday/Thursday but all the "SQUAD is bad, it´s all their fault, look we´re much better than them" stuff seems not good to me.

I wonder if Squad has some sort of contract with Twitch, as its streamers can make money off the service. If they do, thats why the change hasn't and won't happen.

If they are free to stop advertising for the streamers they really should, because it is by far the least popular of the weekly things.

To me, it's honestly no different than YouTube. And it's pretty dull, IMHO. KSP isn't probably the best game to stream, either.

It's another promotional medium, essentially. I don't particularly care to watch someone else play a video game (whether via youtube or twitch) but such things do seem to be popular with the general gaming population.

I see you have lots of views more, but I wasn´t about the view count (Twitch Thursday has still more views per day, BTW) but about the mentality of "SQUAD is bad and what they do is worse".
