I find it hard to believe that you actually photographed a Kerbal on the Mun. This must be a hoax.

Perhaps Kerbals on EVA should have an option to build a castle (like plant flag) when they're feeling very happy (and are somewhere a castle could be built).

Someone should make that a mod.

The castle must be a mod related effect. I've logged 2100 hours on Steam alone and have never seen it.

I do use mods, just not the right one I guess.

This is actually possible I believe (this is from memory, so it may be slightly inaccurate). The ground scatter rocks on the Mun have a very low chance of spawning as a sand castle.

It would be an awesome easter egg to place a single sandcastle somewhere on Mun.

With KIS/KAS it should not be too hard to mod the ability to place a castle anywhere.

It is certainly stock and suggest you don't play any game of chance that requiers money.

I've seen it several times. Each time I've taken a screenshot, but I end up wiping all of them each game update or when I end up breaking an install with mods (Which was fairly often, considering I had a habit of misdiagnosing out-of-memory errors as a broken install... derp )
