Hey, nice thread!

I cant host a tourney this Sunday, but I should be able to later in the week. It sounds like PixelStory might host this time, so that will be good.

I'd also like to add my vote for adding Quiztech, I've played around with it and none of the engines seem OP, and the rest of the parts are pretty much just for looks.

B9 wings are OP. They add like 4 times more lift than the same shaped stock wing.

Pwings was recently updated, but I havent tested it for balance:

If only it used FAR... I could design a stock part aircraft that could fly and fight in FAR..... but stocks notquiteNEARlytheresouposphere just is a no-go for me.

I am interested in seeing the videos of some of these fights though.

Have you tried the stock aero since 1.0? its nothing like it used to be.

FAR is too much simulation for me. I get bored spending 30 minutes moving around radially attached nosecones to get a better drag profile.

Welcome to the first "Pixel Tournament"!

This is a Stock/BD Armory tournament for NEW planes in 1.0.4.

Rules:

No copying other peoples planes

Plane must stay in air once the match has started

Don't be a poor sport

Have fun!

Requirements:

Must be under the 60 point limit

Must be under 30 tons

Must be at least 5 tons

The tournament will start Monday at 10:00 AM EST

Notes:

Previous posts said that there would be an a custom arena,

this is not true as creating arenas are to glitchy at the moment.

If anyone would like to try making an arena, the best places to make them

are at the polar ice caps.

I would like to enter into this tournament with the subat-2MK1. It is a 60 point plane:

Ok I will need to edit my submission here when I get back from the store, totally forgot to set the AI settings for flight cause the default settings don't let it turn as sharp as it can (and I just remembered a design flaw in it from earlier)

That's fine. As long as you have it in before Pixel hosts the tournament.

I guess I didn't include that. Hm... I've never actually used them. Are they any good for air to air combat? I would assume the AI can lead with them decently.
