-No clipping fuel tanks or engines. They can be slightly clipped for looks, but not completely inside each other. Structural parts and ammo, guns, gear, etc. Is ok. Wings are OK as long as you're not putting all your wings inside the plane.

Can I clip fuel tanks in each other if I empty them partially? It would still be realistic, but looking better.

Slam_Jones, you need to add a radome to the gladius 1a, as stated by this rule.

All planes are required to have radomes.

The AAIF (Advanced Artificial Intillegence Fighter)-2b Stormwind is the latest evolution of the AAIF series. As a jet biplane, it has lots of lift and space for controlsurfaces but is big and easy to hit. It has lots of countermeasures and is armed with 4 AMRAAMs and 2 Hidden Vulcans. Maximum g is 15+ at 200-300m/s and Maximum Speed is about Mach 2.

Radomes are needed because everyone has them. Everyone except you had an extra .7 tons on their plane

Radomes add the capability to use AMRAAMs, and make the radar warning recover work. That way I know if someone has missile lock on me, even if they use heat seekers.

And how does radar work if you don't even have an enclosure for it? If we didn't have radomes it would be like 1940s combat with modern planes which makes no sense. Radar was even used to aim guns.

I mean, this is an AI tournament, so I don't see how #2 applies.

#3: suspension of disbelief. There are also plenty of other logical/historical inconsistencies, but oh well.

Added in-line radome to Gladius 1-A (placed between upper engine and upper intake). Haven't had time to test it yet.

Hmm, I think I've allowed an accidental regression, resulting in the 232 to be missing a radome. Just a tick....

Fixed, CK-232C now up. It has the unfortunate habit of shooting itself down, due to the AI's fondness of rolling violently while shooting missiles. Ah well, can't be helped....

Colmo, might want to mess with the missile's detachment force. Or increase the height setting on the missile rail. Or move the missile's forward toward the nose.

That's a feature I missed. I'll reduce the time delay on inner AMRAAMs, those are the troublesome ones.

Edit: Done, I'd appreciate it if the latest craft file for the CK-232C is used.

Colmo, your planes have an interesting style. None of the supermanouverable fighters can turn onto their tail due to instability, except for the jet biplane and FA-27.

New update, better explosions.

I consider these to be 4/4.5 generation fighters (the ones with turbofans - the ones with basic jets are more 3rd gen). The change to weaponry distracted me, new airframes will be fully unstable.
