Where do you download your crafts?

After noticing a trend where over 75% of my craft downloads were on curse, I wanted to know which sites people use.

KerbalX is what I use to upload craft. I find dropbox and curse annoying.

TIP FOR EVERYONE! DON'T UPLOAD CRAFT TO KERBALSTUFF. APPARENTLY NO-ONE LIKES THAT...

Wow...I did NOT read! I use Mediafire, on the rare case I have something worth posting (rare because I spend a lot of time building and testing and eventually throwing an idea out because it ain't working!)

Even once you get past the walls of virus-y looking adverts, mediafire sucks. I really don't get why people use it. What's wrong with dropbox though, it seems to work ok for me at least.

I use a mix of Dropbox and KerbalX. I find KerbalX better, but Dropbox is very quick to use.

Whenever I get a craft from dropbox (got one from flipnascar that did not do this, maybe user error) or mediafire it has a .txt at the end, which is a pain to fix on my mac, plus the popups.

That makes sense, I'm on windows so that's never been an issue, although you do have to choose "save target as" instead of normal clicking to download sometimes. Guess I'll spend the extra 30 seconds to upload stuff to KerbalX then .

I only download ships if it's exceptionally good or if I have to test things, I dl from mostly KerbalX.

Yeah, I mostly download things to figure out how they work, then try to incorporate a similar design into my own aircraft. Yes I like building aircraft.

Sorry, I guess I sounded a little arrogant. I just like doing things my own way.... using someone else's design for anything seems kinda cheating... IMO.

I have to say, I sometimes feel the same I rarely download ships tbh.

I think uploading things to Mediafire is much, much more convenient than KerbalX, which is why I haven't used the latter in quite a while.

Maybe it's convenient for the uploader. The amount of traffic on a KerbalX page is easily much higher because you can place picture albums and video's together with your craft.

Personally, for quick or private sharing I choose Dropbox. Otherwise KerbalX.
