Who are you to decide this, I hear you asking, and here's the answer: No one. I am official in any way, shape, or form. If you're unhappy with my decision, we can work something out. This is just my opinion, since there's no objective way to judge "Quality" of crafts.

If anyone feels that their craft is missed because of any kind of time-zone difference, or any kind of difference in when spacecraft fridays is put up, tell me.

If your craft is really good and was made before, and someone posts in it within that week, then it will be considered. Just to clarify, I am not encouraging necros for the sake of bumping your craft.

First from pandoras kitten we have the Chinese J-10 fighter, complete with stock bombs and (optionally) Tweakscaled missiles!

Then we have SaturnianBlue's fantastic looking Voyager replica! It shows how much detail you can get with some mods, namely TweakScale, Procedural Parts and Infernal Robotics, if I'm not mistaken.

Then, we have Reistlyn's Paper Plane replica, full stock! Unfortunately he has yet to develop a giant hand that can throw it..

Next, we have Azimech's stock propellor engines, and he has scored a new breakthrough in heli engineering with a sky crane that can lift 20 tons yet is only 293 parts, which is impressive given stock propellor engines are..weak.

And last but not least, erasmusguy has created a jet engine with a jet engine-yeah I know. KSP logic.

I apologize for being hasty in my choices, I'm not exactly having a good time now.

Awesome, the SCF lives on! As Majorjim says, en extra dose of kudos and hugs is in order, considering the week you must have had. I hope this came as a helpful distraction!

As always, congrats to the featured. Awesome job, and we finally have some mods featured!

Rune. I think I called at least two in my head as "I'm pretty sure this will make SCF"...

Thanks, Rune and Majorjim.

Please keep in mind, there are two versions on KerbalX, one is the 293 part CTR3, the other is the 341 part CTR3 Sky Crane.

I actually linked to your forum turboprops thread so people can see some of your other (awesome) designs.

Why are you not feeling so good? Are you okay?
Well, I just got some personal bad news.

My grandfather just passed away. As in, minutes ago.

In my future 1.1 save, the KSS will be named after him.

FYI my grandfather cared for me a lot when I was a kid, so I will miss him dearly.

yeah.

Sweet list! I love that jet engine and the Stock Helicopter by Azimech. I'll have to share some notes with him sometime, my 20+ ton VTOL solution looks remarkably industrial and ultra complex, yet Azi's stock helicopter looks like something from the musing of Da Vinci and has similar lift capacity and possibly much better stability.

Mi-12 craft release just missed this week's SF by a day because after a conversation with 2 veteran KSPers on IRC on the nuances of differential collective and cyclic concepts in twin rotor helicopter control, I took a full day plus a surprise public holiday today to actually learn how to use it and sling load heavy objects in KSP; the house weighs 19 tons and the vans each weigh 8.4 tons in the below video!

House scene took 7 hours by itself due to pilot error (forgetting the procedure to transition to "precision auto hover" mode) and re learning it lol.

I'll make a fresh craft thread for this one; while I already have a Mi-12 testing thread on the Exchange, it doesn't cover the effort needed to re-evaluate the entire control system setup and over 20 key commands needed to operate the production, heavy lift capable Mi-12 and use it to actually move more than its own weight around.

Edit, done, view the ridiculousness here

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
