Hello all,

KSP looks really captivating, but before I take the final plunge and purchase it, I would like a confirmation.

I searched but found nothing, if I missed it please point me to the relevant thread.

I see I can get it both from the site and steam, and from what I read on reddit you don't need steam. But is it really steam-free (I know you can run steam games without firing it up), meaning I don't have to install the steam client too, correct?

I think not and hope not, but I would like to double check.

If you buy the version from the Webstore it has no DRM and dose not need the steam client, Ill admit I dont know if you can run the Steam version sans the client once it's downloaded.

Btw, I'm ok with DRM (as long as it's not bad as i.e. Starforce), it's the whole platform concept i don't like.
